Alexander's POV.

Sitting in my office right behind my desk, I couldn't help but smile endlessly as I thought about nothing but Summer in my arms all night.

The scene of her smiling and thanking me so much for saving and helping her mother couldn't just leave my mind.

At this point, I was going to take care of her, I swore to protect her with my whole being without letting go or leaving her for anyone and that included Jordan.

I believed that whatever Jordan could do, I definitely could do it more or perfectly as the saying goes.

"Oh, Summer, my dear… I can't wait to hold you against my skin tonight!" I chuckled softly like I was talking to someone in my office.

It was possible to get an imaginary friend at this point but I wasn't going to care so long as I had Summer to myself and for myself.

I rubbed the edges of my lips with my thumb and a crazy desire surged within me. It was the desire to go to her office and get her.

But that wouldn't be appropriate, would it? I thought I
