Back From The Dead

Ava's pov

I woke up to noise outside. People were talking about someone who was found in the forest. I didn’t think much of it at first. But when I went to the kitchen, I heard the full story.

"They brought Elara back," someone whispered.

I stopped walking. "What did you say?"

"Elara," she repeated. "They found her in the forest. They thought she was dead, but she's alive. She's at the clinic now."

What? That's not possible. Elara, alive? It's not possible.

She was confirmed dead. I was told she's dead and thrown into a forest. How then is she alive?

I didn’t even finish what I was doing. I ran to find Lila, my heart beating fast.

When I reached her room, she was standing by the window, looking outside. She didn't even know what was going on.

"Lila!" I called.

She turned quickly. "What is it? You look worried.”

"Elara... She's alive. They brought her back."

Her face changed fast. First she looked shocked. Then angry.

"What do you mean she's alive?" she shouted. "You said she was dead
