CHAPTER NINETEEN

As promised, Meghan was released from the hospital  the next day on the account that she's improved greatly and was doing well now.

She was informed that they should be back in a week for check up and at the slightest sign of a relapse, she should be brought in immediately.

Jojo was elated with the new but she was just as surprised too.

They were being let go without clearing their bills, yet. 

This was a first.

She asked the doctor about this and he only laughed at her question as if she'd only asked it in a bid to be funny. 

"Of course we wouldn't be letting you go unless your bills are cleared." He said, taking in her confused expression before he finally got the message.

She had no idea what was going on.

The lingering smile died away from his face and he asked,

"You don't know anything about this, do you?"
