Lucienne shook her head, she was never going to get married to him, not even if she was trapped in the body of Cherry.
"No" She shook her head slightly and her father noticed the look on her face.
"Hello all" Lucas gave a small bow and waved at Lucienne with a smile that creeped her out and still yet disgusted her.
"You are welcome Mr. Winston" Cherry's father welcomed Lucas.
"Winston?" Lucienne mumbled.
Lucas had never told her that he was the son of the Winston family.
There was sudden silence over the place as another man stepped into the living room, dressed in all black which made Lucienne remember the man who gave his umbrella to her, there was another man following after him too.
"Hello, I hope I am not late" his voice was as hot as whatever and his face was not less hotter than his face.
"Of course not, welcome son in law" Cherry's father welcomed him.
"That's your fiance" Diana nudged Lucienne lightly.
"Oh, I see, and the first one?" she mumbled a question.
"He is your brother in law, the elder brother to your fiance" Diana whispered.
"I see" she murmured and looked towards Damien who was looking back at her.
She quickly looked away his piercing cold gaze.
"C'mon, let's all go eat" Cherry's step mother stood up with a wide smile on her face, the smile on her face was genuine as she was glad that Cherry was finally going to leave the home.
All of them walked over to the dinning room and settled into various seats except for the man following Damien who stood behind Damien.
"It is such a honor to have you at our home today, dinning with us" Cherry's dad smiled at Damien who only responded with a slight nod.
There was a strange silence as they all ate.
Lucienne was elated when she tasted the meal, it tasted out of the world.
To her, this was the taste of wealth, the taste of being a rich lady, she was going to remember the taste forever even after she got her body back.
"We should leave the both of you to talk" Cherry's Dad said, pulling himself up from the chair.
He glanced at his wife and Carol and the both of them followed after him.
"Have a nice time with your woman" Lucas patted Damien's shoulder and walked away leaving just Lucienne, Damien, Diana and Derek.
Lucienne's eyes trailed after him, her face contorted into disgust and anger towards him.
"What's your name?" Damien asked, barely looking at her.
"Lucie...." She quickly bit her lips hard to stop herself.
"Lucie?" Damien asked.
"No, not at all. My name is Cherry" She replied him hurriedly.
Damien looked at her, narrowing his eyes at her before shrugging it off.
"Cherry... Does not sound so nice" He mumbled a response.
"Ugh?"
Lucienne felt hatred suddenly surging for the man sitting opposite of her.
Both brothers were jerks.
"I said your name does not sound nice" He repeated his words.
"That is... That is not nice to say" Lucienne mumbled a response.
"I am pretty blunt, I hope you learn to adapt to me being blunt" he replied her.
"Let's take a walk, show me around this place" Damien requested.
Lucienne wondered how she was supposed to show him around a place that she herself did not know.
"Oh, okay" she mumbled a response.
Damien got off the chair and began to walk away, Lucienne stood up and followed after him.
"You both should stay back" Damien said to Derek and Diana.
"Gosh no" Lucienne muttered underneath her breath.
Without the help of Diana, she hoped she would not be ruining things.
It was so hard to live in the body of someone else, especially someone you know nothing about.
"You are supposed to show me around, why are you walking behind me?" Damien asked.
"Oh, that's right" she moved in front of him and led him out of the mansion.
Luckily she found the garden.
"Here is the garden, I have had lot of memories here. My childhood here was...."
"Your childhood, you say? Didn't your family move into this home two years ago?" Damien asked and her jaw slightly dropped.
"I... I was just saying, two... Two years ago to me is like childhood" she stuttered out the most silly response.
Damien almost rolled his eyes, he felt that it was enough that he had to get married to someone he barely knew but the lady being a dummy who could hardly speak without stuttering was really disappointing to him.
"You... You should tell me your name too" Lucienne requested.
"Is there any young lady in this city who does not know my name?"
Proud!
Lucienne quickly concluded and noted.
"I... I just want to hear you say it" She gave a faltering response.
"Damien, Damien Winston."
"I am not here to get involved with any romantic talks with you or even try knowing you because honestly, I do not even want to know you..." Damien started.
"We are getting married now to fulfil the wishes of our parents and to strengthen our companies, we will be husband and wife but we will not be couples, do you understand that?" He asked her.
"I do understand"
"Finally said a sentence without stuttering" He mumbled.
"We'd be getting married in three days, I would get everything prepared, you only have to be ready. Once you move into my home, I would hand over to you the rules you would need to be following for peaceful living and I really do hope that you'd abide by the rules" he added.
"Is there... What will happen if I break a rule?" She asked and he moved closer to her.
Lucienne's stomach tightened and she moved three steps backwards quickly. This man was hot and she did not want his charm to get to her.
"You will find out when you break the rule" He replied her and leaned back.
Damien's phone rang in his pockets and he reached out for the phone.
He looked away and picked the call.
Lucienne let out a breath of relief when he looked away.
The more she stayed in this body, the more she wanted to get out of it to a body she understood more, her own body.
Damien glanced over at her and then picked the call.
"Hello"
"Hello, Mr. Winston"
"The lady you brought, she has slipped into a comatose state"
"Coma?"
"Yes, Mr. Winston but I am positive she would be fine though I think it would take some time"
"How much time?"
"I can not tell but at least three months, Mr. Winston"
"It was nice having you here" Cherry's father smiled at Damien who was ready to leave."It was nice being here too" Damien responded."I would take my leave now" Damien added and without even looking at his arranged bride, he turned and walked away with Derek following after him.He got into the backseat of the car while Derek got into the driver's seat."Where to, boss?" He asked."To the hospital" Damien replied."Are you feeling uncomfortable in any manner?" Derek asked, a little bit of worry clouding his face."Can you just do things without asking so much questions, Derek?" Damien groaned, pulling out his tab."Yes sir" Derek mumbled and revved the car into motion.Damien worked on his tab until the drive was over."Stay back in the car, I would be out soon" he said to Derek, dropping his tab and picking his face cap.He wore the face cap and stepped out of the car.He walked into the hospital and arrived at the doctor's office in no time."Mr. Winston, you are welcome" the docto
Diana returned to where she had left Lucienne but could no longer her there. She looked around the place but there was no signs of her either."Cherry?" She called out but there was no response."Cherry? I am here with the ice cream" she called out, walking forward a bit but there was no response.Diana was not familiar with the place and she found it hard to get ice cream for them especially when it was so late already. She had to go a really long way to get the ice cream and now back here, she could no longer find Cherry's body with Lucienne's soul."Lucienne?" She called out, hoping that she'd find her if she called her by her real name but there was still no response.Diana was starting to get worried, she roamed the place, searching for her but was unable to, no matter how much she searched and called out, she could not find her.Diana finally sat on the bench in the middle of the street, her breathing slightly ragged now.She wondered what would happen to her when Cherry's fathe
"This is where I left her, on this bench" Diana pointed out to the bench."Search around this area, I want my daughter back today" Mr. Hillard ordered and the men he had brought along began to walk around the streets, in an attempt to find Cherry."If I do not find her today, you are going to be in trouble, Diana" Mr. Hillard threatened her."I will never understand Cherry, she is always causing trouble" Carol rolled her eyes."Do not talk about your sister that way" Mr. Hillard cautioned her and Carol kept quiet, suppressing an eyes roll.Mr. Hillard's phone rang and his eyes widened slightly."It is Damien" he groaned.*Damien was seated in his living room, his legs were crossed over each other. His brows were arched, he raised his hand and glanced at his wristwatch.Cherry was supposed to come to him and the both of them go to get the bride dress for her but it had been an hour over the scheduled time and there was no Cherry.Damien shook his head with an inpatient groan."Still f
Damien was ready to leave work and go back home when Derek returned."What is going on?" He questioned, not looking at Derek, he was packing up his briefcase."The Hillards are trying as much as possible to hide it from everyone but I found out that Miss. Cherry, your bride has run away from home and they are trying to find her"His brows arched and he raised his face up, he looked slightly surprised but then in a few seconds, his face returned to its usual expressionless look."Cherry, that dummy still has the guts to try to run away from me""It is said that she never agreed to this marriage""Not like I ever agreed to this too" he mumbled underneath his breath."Should I search for her too?" Derek asked and to his surprise, Damien shook his head indicating no.He was definitely expecting Damien to search for Cherry immediately because it would be a huge taint to his almost perfect image if his bride did not appear on his wedding day."Not yet, let them search for her for today. If
Lucienne looked out of her windows and she could see that the men scattered around the streets were still there even though they had reduced. She had to go out, she was still in the body of Cherry but she was on her period and she needed to get pads or tampons. She had run out of them a few days back when her own body went through her period and now she was experiencing someone's else's body period. She felt like it was punishment to her.Grabbing her hoodie, she slipped it on once more and ensured that her face was very well covered. The weather was still noticeably gloomy and she knew that it really could still rain anytime soon. She picked the umbrella the strange man had given to her and set out of her home with her heart in her mouth. She could be caught and maybe, just under maybe, she would not be caught. She walked through the streets, avoiding the men and trying to be as casual as possible and luckily for her, she was not stopped till she got to the mall. She got the things s
Diana and Lucienne exchanged shocked looks as Diana racked her brain with a way to get out of this mess that they were going to be going deeper into if she did not find something to tell Carol."Lucienne? I asked who is Lucienne" Carol repeated her questions."It's a nickname I got when I was in college, you have any issues with that, sister?" Lucienne asked, trying to cover up, with an absolutely composed look on her face.Carol's face squeezed into a deep frown as soon as Lucienne had finished speaking."Sister? Don't call me that cause I am not your sister" she rolled her eyes.Perhaps it was her hatred for the fact Lucienne had referred to her as sister that made Carol forget about the 'Lucienne' issue."Uhmm.... What are you doing in here Miss. Carol?" Diana asked."You think I want to be here with you?" She asked Diana."With her?" She looked over at Lucienne with a disdainful look on her face."Of course not! I was asked to come help her with trying on the bride's dress, like I
Damien tapped his foot on the floor, waiting for his bride to arrive. She finally did get to him and he could not be more glad that she was done with her slow steps. The wedding was fairly small with only few people in attendance. He tried to see beyond the flimsy veil that his bride had on but he could not see behind it.He had no idea how she looked but the really didn't care much about it.He just wanted to get over with this and go back to working, he had a few things to deal with at work and he was more concerned about that than his wedding.Lucienne raised her head slightly to look at his face and she could not help but bite her lips.He was handsome, too handsome, sexy and hot, his hair had been gelled backwards and it was in black color, his black suit kind of clunged to his body in a sexy way.He was so good looking that Lucienne even thought that perhaps if he was not so much of a jerk, perhaps she would grow to like him."Cherry Hillard" the priest called out to her and she
"Welcome!" A woman greeted as Lucienne and Diana walked into the place.Diana was carrying a few bags while all that Lucienne had in her hand was the umbrella. In a way, she considered the umbrella very special to her."Congratulations on your marriage with young master" The woman smiled."Thank you" Lucienne mumbled, giving the woman a smile. The woman was obviously older, probably in her late forties."You are really beautiful" The woman commented."Thank you once more" Lucienne appreciated her even though she could not feel the compliment, the body belonged to Cherry, Cherry was the beautiful one and not she."Uhm... What's your name?" Lucienne asked."You can just call me Nancy""Nancy, nice name""Thank you""I will lead you into the room you will be staying" the woman turned, walking towards the stairs.Diana and Lucienne looked at each other and began to follow the woman.Lucienne let her eyes roam around the mansion of Damien. If she had been thinking that the Hillard's mansio
