A SATURDAY GETAWAY

Ken woke up a happy man on Saturday, he looked at his clock it was 9 am usually on a normal day he could be in the office working but not today when he is in the company of his beautiful girlfriend he looked at her sleeping like a baby on his chest and he could not believe how lucky he had gotten to have a beautiful lady both in mind, body, her curves, her beautiful face and full lips that he wanted to continue kissing forever more and he couldn’t help but to smile because he was a fulfilled man and he felt at home with her. 

He got very upset when he found Roberto mistreating her, he never felt so protective and wanted her close to him so that he can take care of her and love her forever. At that moment he vowed to be the best husband to the mother of his kids. Mother of his kids when did he think of having a family, it’s amazing how things change in such a short time, and this time for the better. He said to himself I will thank my brother and his best friend for making me get into the plane and travel thousands of kilometers to find the love of his life. He will buy them a drink on a boy's night out and thank them although they are sometimes a pain in the neck this time it’s for the right reason.

He decided to go out jogging to breathe some fresh air and keep himself in shape. That was Ken’s procedure in the morning either go to the gym, go swimming if it’s not very cold or go jogging to refresh or if he wanted to clear his mind. The air in his lungs made him feel rejuvenated and if it was a decision he wanted to make for either personal or for the company it was the best time to think about it and get a conclusion. Listening to the birds sing in the trees along the road or at the park or watching the sunrise gave him the peace and tranquility that was much needed.

 He made up his mind that she was going to spend the rest of his life with Tina by his side and as a wife, he had only to plan on when to pop in the question and give her an engagement ring.

Then an idea popped up in Ken’s mind he had a friend called Max who had a yacht she can take for a cruise at the river and they go and enjoy the day idling in the vineyard. He wanted to explore the world with Tina and today turned out to be a good day to take her on a cruise and enjoy mother nature the peace and tranquility is the best place you can plan a future with your future wife. 

He called his friend Max who answered his phone immediately, hi brother what can I help you with? Ken replied are you using your yacht today? Ken asked. Max asked jokingly who the special one you want to take out because you are not the romantic guy if I recall and I know you don’t intend to go for a drinking spree that’s not your style. Ken could not hide from Max who was like a second brother to him, “Yes Max you are right I have gotten the right one and I intend to pop the question today. Max “I love Tina and I feel she is the one for me I don’t want her to go back to her town without committing myself I want to commit and marry her soonest man, I am sure she is the one for my future. Max had never heard Ken serious over a woman, he had tried to talk to Ken to get a lady and marry but had multiple relationships that materialized to nothing. This irritated even Ken’s parents who had always pushed to look for a lady to settle with but not a gold digger like his fling but a wife material.

Max was pleased to hear from his friend and he decided he will not hire the yacht for him but to treat him by organizing the boat trip and call inform the boat captain to take them on a cruise trip for lunch but make sure they are back by evening for a dinner to be held either in a hotel or his parent's house he’ll organize for the dinner party which can also be dabbed as the engagement party.

Max called Kens’ parents, especially Auntie Rachel. “Hi auntie how are you for many days, I am a fine son, and to what honor do I have you calling me in the morning? Max said auntie your long dream is coming to pass. Rachel asked which dream my son are you referring to, you’ll make me nervous. Please don’t be nervous but happy auntie because your prodigal son is back. Max, have you become a pastor since you are talking in tongues? No auntie I mean your son Ken has found himself a wife he’s engaging today but wanted a private affair I think we should celebrate don’t you auntie? Max said. Yeah, I believe so, she said so Max said I will call the hotel continental they organize a dinner party for the celebration but it’s going to be a surprise we should not let the couple know especially Ken if he knows he can fail to come. I will call close family members and inform them that it is a surprise you talk with your yacht captain to keep time and leave the food and invite to me we will call his brother Lewis and his best friend Tim for assistance I know they will be happy.

I also have an idea about the engagement ring I have one I was given by my grandmother I can pass it to the girl. I pray that my son settles down once and for all we need grandkids running up and down in the house. Ken’s mum could not contain her excitement when she went to inform her husband Mr. King who was talking on the phone and the wife run to him and give him a bear hug and smiled a smile he had not seen in a long time.

Mr. King became amazed and asked what’s in the smile Rachel, have you worn lottery? No, my dear, your son has seen the light, which light? Mr. King was confused, let's go inside and I will explain kissing his cheek which excited Mr. King since his wife was behaving like a teenager.

Ken returned from his morning jog he had organized for the trip with the yacht and for the jeweler to deliver the ring which he had already ordered when he came back from the safari. The jungle adventure awakened his sleeping giant and made him realize that love was a beautiful thing. Ken thought that true love was only found in movies or books but what he felt with Tina was beautiful, and special and if that’s true love then he wanted the de javu to last forever. He wants to spend the rest of his life in that feeling and did not want to wait any longer. He needed his sweetness, his love, his heartbeat near him every day he woke up, the moment was beautiful.

He entered the house and there was some aroma coming from the kitchen, he wondered who had come to make breakfast and all his workers were off except for the security, what happening did his brother decide to come and take the breakfast with him sometimes he does. Out of curiosity, Ken decided to see what is happening in the kitchen.

When he opened the back door the sight in front of him was to behold.  Wow what do we have here Ken could not help but smile a huge smile and run to hug the love of his life. What do we have here?

Tina had freshened up dressed in Ken’s shirt and was making breakfast in the kitchen. She looked sexy revealing her beautiful legs and figure and at home as if she belonged there making the beacon she was frying was heavenly on the side was coffee in a pot and the aroma of the Arabica coffee was so overwhelming. There were some boiled eggs in a try, some cereals and milk in a cup, and some toasted bread with jam and butter on the side.

There was a jug with freshly squeezed orange juice which made Ken hungry he put some juice in a glass and Tina said I will allow you the juice only but go and freshen up and come down for breakfast. Ken offered to help but Tina politely declined his help and he had no choice but to comply with her order. At your service madam, she saluted her and kissed her lips. Tina replied with a beautiful smile showing off her dimples and her beautiful white dental formula. That turned on Ken more and he had to be naughty and squeezed gently her behind. Go Ken please don’t start it, you need to eat. Ok darling he replied and climbed the stairs smiling like a teenager.

Ken had a quick shower and changed to a casual white and blue shirt and a short which made him look so sexy even when Tina saw him ascending the stairs she could not help but bit her teeth. And Ken became turned on please don’t do that or I will make love to you on the couch. Tina had to look away because she was smiling and when Ken looked at her with the open chiseled chest she got turned on.

They brought the breakfast on the table, the beacon was heavenly the toast, the aroma of black coffee, the cereals, the yummy orange juice plus the fruits of grape and strawberry fruits as dessert were the best.

They enjoyed their breakfast and Ken told Tina to prepare they were setting sail. She should get dressed and carry a swimsuit she started complaining she didn’t carry and dress but Tom knew her size and had ordered the dresses for her so she produced a flowery cotton red rose and black flowered white sundress with sandals. She wore the dress and used the cologne for Ken which was smelling sandalwood and that’s the smell he liked on him she loved using the cologne because it reminded her of him. She took her handbag and a sun cap because they were going to ride in the sun. When she was leaving Ken appeared and hugged her kissed her hard and said let's go or we will cancel the trip and spend the whole day in bed you look beautiful my love. You to my knight and charming armor you look so handsome I can't resist you. Let's get going please I don’t want to start making love to you my girl.

Tina asked, “Where are we going but Ken said it’s a surprise my darling”.

They entered his luxurious vehicle and drove off and Tina started enjoying the ride sitting on the luxurious leather seats and enjoying the comfort of the car, the cool music, and watching the new environment, the beautiful Masonite the skyscrapers when they passed the town until they arrived at the other side of the town and stopped at a small port with so many smaller boats.   

There was a beautiful white yacht and there was a captain on a boat it could carry about Ten people there was a crew on board so when Ken directed her to the yacht the crew humbled and bent and said welcome aboard MV QUEEN and bon voyage. Thank you both said and boarded and set on the sail. Tina didn’t know where they were going and didn’t bother to ask because she was in safe hands. She just sat inside and enjoyed the smooth ride. She put on her sunglasses and her cap to shelter from the sun and closed her eyes to enjoy the smooth ride and the breeze.
