CHAPTER 9: LIKE? LOVE?

Evander took her back to his pad. After she said she'd give him space because she thinks he’s too busy because of his profession, here she is again, back to his place. But Gwendolyn felt relaxed after she dropped herself on the couch. She heard Evander going to the kitchen, so she made herself feel at home and went to his room to have a quick shower.

Gwendolyn forgot she wasn’t on her own pad, so she had no choice but to borrow one of Evander’s clothes again. She’ll just wash it later. After taking a bath, she decided to check out what Evander was doing. She found him cooking something delicious. “What cha cooking doc?,” she said while leaning over the door. Evander glanced at her briefly before giving her a smile.
