8: Starts to Heal the Little Brother (2)

"Oh, Sister Ming," Meng Meng seemingly like he has dog ears rising in awe. "I've just applied it to my wounds after the crushing."

"Can you tell me where you got this?" Sol Ming learned from his grandfather that this plant can grow into a 5–10 meter wide belt between the forest and the tall grassland, in which it shielding the forest from grassfires and helping the forest to expand. If that's the case, she will need to take more notes into geographical details if she ever decides to run away someday.

"Just a little further away, near the side of the large rocks." Meng Meng replied a bit confused.

"What?"

"I'll show sister Ming, if..." Meng Meng watches Shan Yang as the other stuffs all the cut flesh into the stone pot. Sol Ming had followed looking, but her entire attention was on the meat with dirt from the soil.

Oh. God.

She wanted to scream as soon as Shan Yang poured unfiltered water into it and appeared to start cooking when he was about to get up.

"Wait!"

Shan Yang turned to face her, unsure of what the female sl*ave with a hanging mouth would say.

In the end, it caused his brows to meet.

Though he had overheard the two people discussing how the type of that vegetable they were holding could treat wounds, he did not immediately trust their words.

"Meng Meng, later go outside and fetch herbs with her." He said this while putting down the stone pot and walking over to his younger brother to see how he was doing.

"Herbs?" Meng Meng subconsciously let out.

"Don't ask, just do it," Shan Yang muttered as he refocused on Sol Ming.

"When are you going to start healing my brother?"

Sol Ming received a hard look after trying so hard not to yell earlier seeing what this man was doing in the food, and she almost flinched at this time. It is a good thing she has someone by her side, or else the barbaric man will notice that she has let her guard down a little.

Sol Ming took another deep breath and gathered all her thoughts.

"Right away, I'll start." Then after that, she stood up and the first attempt had her almost falling down. The muscles have been sitting all this time which resulted in this, what a pain this is, she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Master, if you would please boil water for the little brother?"

"Meng Meng!"

"Yes!" Meng Meng has quickly followed suit.

Ignoring the manner in which the other simply passes the work for his own brother.

What a slacker, eh!

Sol Ming began instructing the young boy, and then the existence of Shan Yang was relegated to the bottom of her mind.

Taking a clean piece of fur, she chose the ones that most likely have no visible dirt on them.

After a while, as soon as the hot water is ready, her unfamiliar skinny hands begin to do what she had learned from the old man about cleaning wounds.

This was the first time she has ever done something like this, at least to say to a complete stranger.

Who hasn't heard of Sol Ming?

Back in her world, she has money, fame, and power at her disposal.

She is the youngest lady of the Sol family,  an apple of her sisters' eyes, and even the entire city knows they can't offend her easily, or they'll be thrown in the lake of crocodiles.

As heinous as it may sound.

But she grew up being a pampered young lady who only needed to flick her finger and everyone would fall to their knees.

A delicate pair of hands, which had never served anyone other than her siblings, is now serving a stranger!

So, what is this?

Now attempting to save someone's life in this fricking other world where there is no internet, electricity, safe drinking water, or a bed to sleep on. . . This is unforgivable!

With her thoughts racing up like this, she hasn't noticed that the hand holding the sharp bone from her scraping the bad skin around the wound has somehow made a clumsy cut.

Sol Ming's eyes widened as she saw the blood slowly dripping down, and Shan Yang's watching at the side showed his angry face, like a mad predator ready to pounce on its prey.

Sol Ming's hand was snatched and tightly squeezed, causing her to winced.

Tears are being forced to escape from the edge of her eyes.

This man possesses the kind of strength that could crush her skinny hand!

Sol Ming cursed under her breath as she realized she was projecting a soft-weak image.

"Let...let..go."

"What are you up to? Are you sure you're really going to heal my brother?" Shan Yang shouldn't have allowed this female sl*ve to work on this.

From the way he sees the other work, there is no sincerity at all; unfortunately, he has no idea what this word of sincerity is; all he knows is that the other is not focusing at all.

He can't stand it if this female sl*ve touches his brother.

"Master!" Meng Meng, who has always been afraid of Shan Yang, can't help but feel a little brave when he sees his sister Ming's eyes well up with tears.

He just doesn't feel right about it.

"Master Shan Yang, Sister Ming may have become distracted. It is not done on purpose!"

"You, get out!" Shan Yang is furious.

"I...I'm," Sol Ming has to say it, biting her lips. "I'm sorry, Master, I got distracted."

It hit her face hard. Down at her stomach, uttering those words is such a bad taste.

Shan Yang, in spite of hearing it, refuses to let go. Not wanting to go on with this ridiculous idea anymore.

But Meng Meng has interrupted once more.

"Master Shan Yang, please allow Sister Ming to continue so that Master Mu can be healed!"

"You!" He directed a glare at the anxious boy.

"Master, I'm sorry if I got distracted this time, but I won't do it again. Could you please let me go?"

Shan Yang looked at the other, Sol Ming's little tears on her eyes were still there as no time to wipe them away, and he began to feel strange and off.

Shan Yang let go harshly, looking back at his unconscious younger brother, wiping the unpleasant sight of blood with other fur.

Sol Ming lowered her gaze insinuatingly as she brushed her wrist with the print of large hands. Her eyes held a silent flame of flaming resentment.

After that, Shan Yang never took his gaze away from her, and Sol Ming didn't dare to overlook a moment of carelessness.

Thereafter, as soon as she finished, she put warm fur on Shan Mu's sweating head.

It's now time for her to work on herself.

By enlisting Meng Meng's help with a couple of things, Sol Ming has began cleaning her own wounds.

Expecting to scream in silent agony as the sharpened bone cut her skin without anesthesia, there was not even a sting.

That astounded her.

How is that possible?

Why doesn't she feel anything?

This is... she had chosen to take this in silence with another thought.

Because she felt compelled to cry as she removed the bad skins, not because she was hurt, but because the sight of her own blood and flesh filled her with dread.

After all, it was her body now, as if she were performing her own surgery.

When a streak of blood had slid down near her finger, she gulped.

Her face looks so pale with fear, making her akin to someone who is very much afraid of blood.
