CHAPTER 60.1

Maybe I made the right decision to reduce my anger and listen. I feel better anyway. But I still can't fully accept Delton, especially since I remember the loss of Mommy.

I sighed and immediately unbuckled the seatbelt after he parked the car in the parking lot.

"Are you alright, Savvy?" he immediately asked as I turned around.

"I'm good, Delton. Just don't piss me off again," I answered simply.

He laughed softly before getting down and immediately opening the door for me. I was about to go out, but Delton didn't let go of the door.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" I asked, confused after seeing the nervousness in his eyes.

"Nothing, Savvy," he replied, holding my hand. "I hope you won't be angry that I'm in charge of the company," he said carefully.

I raised an eyebrow and assessed myself to see if I was angry, but I couldn't be angry.

"Why? I thought it was yours at first?"

"Yes, Baby. But I don't want to invalidate your feelings—"
