Kayden's POV.

I had seen very clearly Lauren push Mantha towards mum and I could not understand why Mantha did not want to let it out that Lauren had pushed her instead she was there again, on the floor pleading.

Her already swollen forehead hitting against the floor, I could only imagine how much it would hurt a human to hit a swollen forehead against the hard tiled floor.

"Dad I would take responsibility," I said, getting up from where I was seated, I pushed back the chair I was sitting on and looked up at Dad, he looked kind of surprised or would be shocked to fit his expression more.

I walked over to Mantha and stood beside her.

"Get up, I am going to get you punished myself for being careless," I said to her in my usual cold manner and she slowly got up.

"I would be leaving now," I said and have Lauren a look that told her I knew about what she did and I would be on the lookout for her, she simply lowered her head, perhaps in shame.
