Samantha's POV

I walked back to the maid's quarters, my shoulders slightly dropping. I was tired from the day's activities, I was dead tired and down with a terrible headache also that seemed to threaten to take my head off me.

I sat on my bed and Cassie rushed over to me.

"You do not look so good, did Alpha Kayden punish you?" She asked and I slightly shook my head to indicate the opposite before handing her the balm he had given to me.

"Alpha Kayden did not punish me but he blamed me for the swelling on my forehead," I replied her.

"You should not have apologized for hitting your head when you very well know that it is already in a bad shape," she replied and I sighed.

"Just forget about it, all I want to do right now is to sleep," I replied her, laying down on my bed.

"Why don't you let apply this balm first?" She asked.
