Chapter 35: Does Everything Change?
For the rest of the night, we sit talking about everything from our pasts to what is coming up in the near future for the kingdom. Then we fall asleep in each other’s arms. However, when I wake up this morning, he is not there again. Where could he be?
“Knock”
I hear a knock at the door, and then I look down and realize that I am still in my clothes from the day before. At least I am not naked for once when people come in unannounced. I despise that more than anything.

“Alright.” I say before climbing out of bed and rushing to the door.
The floor is cold and when I touch the door handle, it causes me to flinch. Because the brass handle is so cold that my fingers smart. I rub them for a brief second before opening the door to find Monique standing there with a pot of hot coffee and some breakfast for me.

As I sleep for the night very comfortably, there is a few times I wake up suddenly when I hear a noise, or something feels slightly off.
