*** Two years later ***

“You look amazing.”

A smile erupts from me as I turn and face my parents and brother while they walk into the bedroom. Bright smiles adorn my parents’ faces and my brother cracks a small grin, which I’m still not used to seeing. Through the years growing up, he usually would carry a look of frustration and irritation when dealing with me.

But now, he has slowly won the pack over, and they have accepted him as the pack’s alpha. It wasn’t a small thing, either. A few of the pack members held out for what felt like forever.

In the end, his heroic actions in various battles, including saving a group of small children, won them over. They couldn’t deny it any longer.

My brother deserves the alpha title.
