Chapter 17 Sharing the same bed

My body jolted immediately I saw him standing in front of me. My heart began to pound fast inside my chest and there I was seated with no single word coming out of my mouth, instead my eyes were widened in surprise and I could tell that he was enjoying the look on my face. A smirk cornered his lips and then he offered his hand in help to me.

What was that for? Did I tell him that I needed any help?

"You don't have to be stubborn. Come let's go to bed," Talon said to me and as strange as that sounded, I couldn't deny the fact that it sounded fruity to my ears.

He said it as though we were a couple that was trying to resolve relationship issues and I felt this tingling sensation in my body which continued to send perpetual ripples in my spine. His voice and the tone with which he said it with, it was just so beautiful to hear but I had to maintain as if I wasn't moved by it.

"But I told you that I'm comfortable here. Why can't you just leave me to stay where I deem fit for me?" I aske
