TANIA:
"Whoa!" I exclaimed as I beheld one of the most amazing sights that I have ever seen.Talon and I just got into the house. The word house was an understatement. It was more like a palace even though I knew that it was a place that housed him and his pack.Constructed antiques stood together in a row beautifying the walls of the hallway and giving it this old familiar look of my lesson school back in Porthove. My teachers would have loved to see these things. If only they were standing next to me right now, they wouldn't hesitate to give me lectures on what they think about the pieces. Silver plated candlesticks were laid out on the wall with lit candles on them, illuminating the passage and the entire house. The smell of spice and myrrh filled my nostrils and I couldn't help but wonder what more there was in the house.I followed Talon to the stairs and I wasted no time in running my hands on the banister. It was cold and smooth to the touch, giving me a sense of home. How I wish it was. Or will be We got to another first floor and began to take a walk down another passage. If only this man knew how my feet hurt, he wouldn't dare to stress me by making me walk my life out. The entire house seemed so quiet, at least that was what I thought until I heard the sound of a metal plate fall to the ground. Oh I guess I was wrong. Maybe there were still a few people left in the house. We arrived at another junction and that was when it became obvious that we were going to take another flight of stairs. I exhaled deeply as I was already weary of the whole thing. As if sensing my frustration and discomfort, Talon stopped too as he was just in front of me and held out his hand to me again."Take my hand. Would you like me to carry you?" He asked. Was my act so obvious that he had to offer carrying me to wherever he was trying to take me to?"Umm... no," I answered instinctively. "I am fine. Aren't we there yet?" I asked as I took a few steps forward to meet with him. "It's not like we are sojourning out of a country on foot. I never knew this house was this big judging from the way it looks outside.""A lot of people say that a lot when they are just coming in here for the first time. I mean, an entire pack lives here so what do you expect? And yes I give it to our builders whose hands are crafted to make a tricky outlook of a building. You can as well call it Tardis.""Tardis? What does that mean?""Small on the outside, big on the inside." He replied.Yeah right, common sense should have told me that since we were just on the topic. We finally reached another floor. I think it was the second one or the third one. I might have lost count and then we arrived at a huge door which seemed to be set apart from the rest of the other doors I've passed."At least you don't have to worry about sojourning out of this country on foot," Talon teased, his hand placed on the handle of the door. "We have finally arrived." And the door flung open to reveal a spacious room with the biggest bed I've ever seen.In comparison, it was a little lower to what Lexi's room in Crescida looked like. I wonder why I was thinking about that pheasant right now. But my goodness, Talon's room was looking like a room meant for kings. Everything was just in place and the way it was decorated suits his personality -- at least the personality I have seen so far. Wooden furniture and artifacts positioned here and there with another sweet smelling scent filling the air."Your room is beautiful," I complimented."Thank you," he replied, dropping the sheath containing his sword on the table. The floor was cold and I couldn't help but stare down to check if I stained it with my dirty feet and yes I did. It was staring right back at me -- dirty foot imprints on the floor."Oh no," I whispered as I continued to study the dirty indentation on the floor."Why do you seem to be bothered about little things? Would there be a need for a floor if there were no feet to walk on it? Besides, my shoes are dirty and we have already walked a long distance before we got here. It's not as dirty as it should and even if it was, the servants will clear it out. Now relax and stop bothering yourself with these things."Yeah right, that was definitely a good point. And honestly, I sort of felt awkward that he was noticing my little errors. Acting like a perfectionist even when I wasn't supposed to. I guess I have to just ignore some things and not be bothered just as he said and then let it flow."You should freshen up and relax before the Pack returns. That is what I would be doing if I were you," he suggested."I just got here. You are the one that has been in this place. Don't you think that you should be the one telling me what to do around here?""Alright then," his head tilted slightly up before he bent down to undo his sandals. "So would you like to have a bath first or--""No, you go first." I cut in abruptly. "I will have mine after you are done." I told him."Okay," he shifted his sandals to a corner. "If you say so," and immediately, he undid his skirt and pulled all the way down before my very eyes. Was I dreaming right now? Was I seeing things? Did Talon just undress in front of me? Was that really a real life p-nis that I was seeing? Whoa!My eyes widened as I was shook to the bones at the naked sight before me. For a minute, I felt the blood rushing inside of me stop as I stood static in fear."Why? You look surprised? You like what you see don't you?" Talon said to me, a sly smirk curving out the side of his lips."What? No." I fought tooth and nail to keep my gaze on him but my eyes betrayed me and u found myself staring back at the same thing that had me shook. And that was when it became clear to me that this man was bold and that indeed he just stripped naked in front of me. "Oh my god!" I exclaimed at the realism. "Oh my God!"I began to run helter skelter in the room while he hurriedly slipped out of his skirt and tried to get hold of me. Before I got to the door, he maneuvered his way around making it difficult for me to reach it."What are you doing?!" Talon was dead confused but was he supposed to be? Who strips casually in front of a female? His hands were wide open to catch me, swaying from left to right while I moved in the opposite direction."What are you doing, Tania?" He asked again."What am I doing?" He nearly got a hold of me before I swung to the other side and found myself standing on his bed with my hand held out in defense."It is just a penis!" He blurted out."No it is not!" I retorted. "Stay away from me!"Tania's POVAs the golden sun dipped below the horizon, casting a soft, ethereal glow upon the magnificent palace grounds, the day of our enchanting wedding had finally arrived. The air was charged with an electric anticipation, and the moon hung high in the night sky, ready to bear witness to the union of our hearts. The palace, adorned with intricate carvings and adorned with delicate moonlit tapestries, stood as a symbol of our ancient heritage. Towering columns lined the grand hall, their surfaces adorned with vibrant flora and intertwined silver vines. The scent of wildflowers and pine wafted through the air, adding an intoxicating touch to the mystical atmosphere.I stood at the entrance of the grand hall, my bridal gown flowing around me in shades of moonlight. The fabric shimmered with silver thread, mimicking the celestial radiance of the night sky. Delicate moonstones adorned my hair, cascading down like cascades of stardust. The gentle rustling of leaves and the distant how
Tania's POVOh, Talon," I whispered, my heart swelling with a mix of emotions. His words resonate deeply within me, unraveling the layers of pain and sacrifice he had endured. The weight of his past struggles became palpable, and I realized how profoundly he had suffered for the sake of a kingdom that was not his own. Talon's selflessness and unwavering determination painted him as a true embodiment of love.Without hesitation, I enveloped him in a tender embrace, seeking to provide solace and comfort. Tears welled in my eyes as I realized the magnitude of his sacrifice and the pain he had carried silently. I couldn't help but feel a tinge of regret for my initial overreaction, for not taking the time to hear his side of the story. If only I had known that it was my own kingdom he had fought to protect, I would never have fled from his side. With a heavy heart, I uttered an apology, the words pouring forth with sincerity. I expressed remorse for not giving him the chance to share his
Tania's POVFor the first time in seven years I felt like I belonged. Crescida, a land which was my worst nightmare before, had become a place similar to home. All these were made possible because of our determination to get things right and I am grateful for it.Talon and I strolled through the kingdom of Crescida, the cobblestone streets beneath our feet echoing with each step. The bustling marketplaces and lively taverns slowly faded into the background as we ventured beyond the familiar paths. Tall stone buildings and intricately carved archways lined our way, whispering tales of the kingdom's storied past.As we wandered, the ambiance shifted. The air grew cooler, carrying with it the scent of moss and damp earth. We followed a meandering path that led us away from the town, guided by the whispers of rustling leaves and the distant sound of flowing water.Soon, we found ourselves ascending a rugged mountain, its slopes adorned with ancient trees and lush vegetation. The hike was
Tania's POVI could hardly believe my eyes as we breached the gates of Crescida. The sight that awaited us in the city square was heart-wrenching and ignited an inferno of rage within me. There, in the center, stood Talon, my lover, the leader of Ascot and beacon of hope for my people's freedom, bound to a stake, his body marked by cruel lashes. The crowds jeered and mocked, reveling in his humiliation. How could they do that to their own?Fury surged through my veins, and I sprinted towards Talon, my heart pounding in my chest. "Tania," he called out but I ignored, my sole focus was only to free him. The ropes that constricted him strained against his struggles, a twisted symbol of his captivity. I drew my blade with a determined hand, slashing through the ropes that held him captive. Each cut felt like a strike against the tyranny that had oppressed our people for far too long.As the ropes fell away, I cradled Talon in my trembling arms, my hands a mixture of anger and tenderness
Tania's POVAs I emerged from the dark confines of the dungeon, Matilda's frail form leaned heavily against me. Her face was pale, etched with exhaustion and the torment she had endured during her captivity. With each step, I supported her, guiding her towards the haven of safety that awaited us—the Pack's house. The journey seemed endless, the weight of responsibility resting upon my shoulders. Matilda's breathing was labored, a testament to her weakened state. Yet, determination fueled my every stride. The Pack's house was our destination, a sanctuary where Matilda could receive the care and support she desperately needed. As we approached the house, the chaos that unfolded within its walls became apparent. Shouts reverberated through the air, punctuated by the occasional crash. Fear coursed through my veins, gripping me with uncertainty. What had transpired in my absence? I hope nothing has happened to Talon nor any member of the Pack? Just as my worry reached its peak, I caught a
Tania's POVI have never experienced true satisfaction upon accomplishing a feat. Although I anticipated that defeating Dolph would drain every ounce of my energy, I was proven wrong. The intervention of the Moon Goddess made the task surprisingly effortless, and now it was time to rescue Matilda from that dreadful room. However, before I could proceed, I needed to neutralize any potential dangers lurking within the house, whether they were servants or guards. There was one particular guard who had caught me snooping around the enigmatic door during my previous visit. He presented a potential threat, and it was imperative that I eliminate him swiftly and decisively. Additionally, I was determined to leave no stone unturned in my quest to ensure Matilda's safety and bring an end to the chaos that Dolph had caused.I swiftly snatched the keys from Dolph's side, urgency pulsating through my veins. With no time to spare, my sole mission was to rescue Matilda and reach the Pack house with
