“All right, that’s the last one.” Grace said to Charlotte as she handed her the apron she had around her neck, and watched as the last customer walked out.

She walked to the door after that, and turned the open and closed sigh around so that the customers knew they were closed for the day, then she walked back to Charlotte.

“Thank you for much for today, Grace.” Charlotte said, smiling at her and referring to how she had been handling all the customers and how more customers had been coming over because of her. According to them, it was her smile that was pulling them right back. Although, Charlotte knew it was because of the fact that Grace was a beautiful woman and they probably kept coming back and being nice to her because they wanted to try their luck.

Grace waved her hand with a shake of her head. “It’s not a big deal. I’m just doing my job.” She grabbed her bag and then her coat from the hanger and said. “I should leave now. It’s really late, and I didn’t bring the car.”
