3. Think About It!

Author's POV

'The day isn't far when you will be beneath me, begging for more. You will be addicted to me just like I am to you, Rosy. You will be mine soon... I will take you with me and no one can stop me. Nor you neither your so called family. You know how much I love you, how crazy I am for you. You will receive big surprise from me in few days and then you will have no choice but to choose me. 

Our marriage day is not far...

Rosetta closed her eyes frustratingly and deleted the massage she just read and blocked the number. She has blocked thousands of numbers till now but still He always manage to text her. She even changed her phone numbers, but it's of no use. 

She placed the phone in drawer and locked it. Rosetta has started hiding her phone not wanting anyone to know that The Russian mafia don, Vlad solkov is crazily obsessed over her. She has no idea where and when he saw her for the first time. He did tried to approach her in few parties but she totally ignored him which fuelled his craziness more. 

Day by day his obsession for her is breaking limits which is  stressing Rosetta. She knows that he isn't someone who makes empty promises or give empty threats. He is upto something and she is aware of that. But she wasn't ready to give in, Vlad is a monster. Biggest Enemy of her father Damian knight. Her mother Rose has killed Vlad's father when she was on mission. Vlad has tried to kill Rosetta's family many times and there is no way that she will choose someone like him. 

She heard knock on the door. 

"Miss everyone is waiting for you..."

The maid informed. 

Rosetta gave her nod and wore her hoodie. She tied her brunette hair in ponytail and head downstairs. She haven't told her family about Vlad, it will only create war between families. She was dealing with it alone. 

Rosetta wasn't like normal 23 years old girl. She is too quiet but smart. Skilled in martial arts just like her mother. She knows how to control her emotions, she has learnt from the best. Rosetta isn't someone who can give a warm shoulder, she is cold and mostly ignores socializing. 

"Good morning my princess..."

Damian, her father kissed her cheek and greeted her. 

"Good morning..."

She replied nonchalantly. 

She looked at her mother, Rose who just gave her nod of greeting and Rosetta did the same. Damian is more close to his daughter than Rose is. Rose's strict behavior never let her go close to her kids but that doesn't mean she doesn't love them. 

Rosetta's two brothers were eating their breakfasts silently not bothering to greet her. 

Damian chuckled at Rosetta's cold response, it always reminds him the young Rose. She was just like her when she joined as his bodyguard. Damian admires his daughter. Her amber eyes reminds him of his mother. 

They took their seats and ate their breakfast silently. When they were done Rosetta handed Damian The envelope.

Damian looked at her confused.

"What's this?"

He asked. 

"Cheque... 1/4 amount of the loan you gave me... I will pay the rest in few months..."

Rosetta replied in calm voice. 

Damian closed his eyes and sighed.

"You don't have to pay me back, I am your father and it's all yours. What's mine is yours... I gave you this money because you wanted to start your own academy, it was your dream to teach people martial arts and I helped you in that. You are doing it successfully and I am proud of you. You don't have to pay me back..."

"I don't want your help in this, I wanted to do it by myself... Please keep the money..."

She replied and Rose smiled at her independent behavior. 

Damian sighed and looked at Rose who just smiled at him.

"She is exactly like you..."

He whispered to her. 

"Well now that you all are here, I have a announcement to make."

Damian declared in his bossy tone. 

"Xavier has offered a marriage proposal for His son Skyler and Rosetta and I have decided to think about it..."

Rosetta was calm even after hearing the life changing news but Rose wasn't happy. 

"No!..."

Rose declared and everyone's eyes snapped towards her. Everyone visibly tensed looking at Rose.

"She is just 23 years old... She is not getting married..."

"Rose, baby listen to me first..."

Damian tried to calm her down. 

"What you want me to listen?... That you want to make your daughter's life a deal. This is not a business Damian. I can't believe, how can you even think about it. Rosetta will only marry a man whom she loves. I won't let my daughter compromise in something like this. I won't let this happen..."

Rose said madly and it's rare. She doesn't lose her temper often. 

Saying that Rose left the dining hall madly and Damian sighed rubbing his forehead. 

her brothers Arthur and Oliver went out leaving Rosetta and Damian alone. 

"I am not ready for any marriage..."

Rosetta stated. She didn't lose her temper.

"Do you love someone?"

Damian asked. 

"No... You know I don't do that kind of things..."

She said. 

"I know Rosa but it's my duty to make sure... Skyler is a very good man, I trust him with you. I have seen him since childhood. And by looking at you I don't think you can fall in love. I won't force you in this, I love you and I will always respect your decisions... Think about it and let me know. Whatever your decision is, I will gladly accept it..."

Damian assured her.

"I am not doing this for me, it's for you... I have to convince your mother too. If change your mind then please tell her that you love Skyler, it will make things easier for us. Otherwise she won't let this marriage happen."

Rosetta looked at the direction where her mother went. She was also shocked that Rose reacted like this. 

Damian realised what she is thinking.

"She loves you Rosa... Rose loves us all but she can't express her love. If you ever failed to understand your mother then think about yourself because you are exactly like her. You are exactly like Rose..."

Rosetta looked at Damian and sighed.

"I am not like her... I am not strong like her..."

Damian chuckled and kissed her forehead. 

"You are!... You are just few years behind in experience. Don't forget Rose is your teacher too and she will be always stronger than you..."

Rosetta nodded in understanding. 

"Think about the proposal and tell me about it... I will deal with your mother..."

With that he left. 

Rosetta sighed.

"Skyler king..."
