6. Conditions!

Author's POV

Rosetta went to her room and washed her face. She tied her hair in ponytail. 

She was still thinking about her decision, is it worth to get married. What if she ends up in another problem while running from one.

On top of that she has no idea what kind of man Skyler is. Rosetta admires her father, he is gentle with her but her brother doesn't. They are rude, arrogant and egoistic. Rosetta is a girl who give respect to everyone despite of their status and she expects the same form others. If that man has no manners then it will be big No from her. She can't stand that kind of man even if it's an agreement.

She dried her face and walked outside. Not bothering to tame her fresh scratched and wounds, neither she bothered to change her dirty clothes. Her oversized hoodie was Dirty with dust. 

She walked towards the garden where Skyler was waiting for her. She saw him sitting at the table lost in his own thoughts. 

Rosetta stopped and took a moment to judge his appearance. 

She can see attitude in his way of sitting, his legs were crossed and thumb was resting on chin. He was wearing expensive black suit which was clean and neat unlike her clothes. He has raven black hair and sharp jawline. He was handsome. She cleared her throat to grab his attention and finally his grey orbs landed on her. They were looking dangerous.

Skyler was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard small voice which Rosetta made. He looked at her up and down with straight face.

Her clothes was dirty and messy, he was expecting some hot girl wearing revealing dress but it was totally opposite. She was in baggy clothes which were hiding her athletic body. His eyes roamed on her face which was deprived of any emotion. Her amber orbs were shining like sun understand morning light, her almond shaped eyes were mesmerizing, decorated with long natural eyelashes. Tiny pointed nose and plump lips which were cherry red. She was beautiful.

For a second he felt like he is seeing young Rose. Rosetta is exact replica of her mother, only difference is her brunette hair and Amber eyes.

Rosetta sat in front of him on the chair. 

"Hello, I am Rosetta..."

Skyler nodded.

"Hii..."

He tried to judge her expressions but she was calm and unbothered. 

"Rosetta I assume that your father has already told you about this marriage?..."

He said in professional tone and she nodded in agreement. 

"Why you want to get married?... You are still young..."

He questioned. 

"I have my reasons... It's important for my dad..."

She replied calmly. 

Skyler understood that even her nature is like her mother. She wasn't like Roy explained. Now he was reconsidering his decision. If he have to marry then she isn't bad choice either.

"You know that we both are not ready for this commitment, but if we have no choice then let's reconsider it... I have some conditions before we go further, if you are agreeing with it, only then I can marry you..."

He stated. Rosetta also has her own conditions but before that she decided to listen to him first. She gestured him to continue. 

"I am not ready for commitment and definitely not for this marriage thing... I love my privacy. This marriage will be only on papers, you won't interfere in my life. Don't expect any kind of physical or emotional attention from me. You have to live in life like you don't exist. I can be your husband in front of our families but don't keep any expectations from me when we are alone. I won't be there for you... You can divorce me whenever you want, you will be free to live your life."

He clearly mentioned his conditions.

Rosetta wasn't disappointed. She was going to put kind of same conditions. He only made things easy for her. Now she was in favor of this marriage as it won't change her life. 

"I accept your conditions but I have mine too..."

She said. 

Skyler frowned at her not believing that she really accepted it but she was looking serious. 

"Like you said we won't interfere in each other's life... I won't be there for you, neither emotionally nor physically."

She said firmly.

"And here is the most important thing. no one will ask for kids from me, nor you neither your family. It doesn't matter What's the situation, I don't care if we are in love, I don't care if you need an heir, I don't care if I got pregnant by mistake. I will abort it... If you accept these conditions then I am ready to marry you..."

Skyler smirked, impressed by her straightforward behavior. Skyler was expecting the same thing. He has no desire for child so it wasn't any problem. 

Skyler looked at her for a second and his eyes fell on her knuckles, it was bleeding. He also noticed few scratches on her face which shows that she is tough. 

"Are you sure Rosetta?... Can you do this?... Don't you want love in your life?"

Skyler gently held her hand and brought closer to his lips. 

Rosetta frowned, his words and actions weren't matching. She was about to pull her hand back but Skyler held it tightly.

"You mother is watching us... If we want this marriage to happen then we have to make them believe that we are in love..."

He cleared her confusion. Rosetta caught glimpse of her mother who was standing in other side of the garden.

He gently blew on her bloody knuckles and wiped the blood with tissue paper.

"Love is foolishness... And I am not a fool..."

She replied firmly. 

"Perfect..."

Skyler let go of her hand and Smirked.

"Won't you ask me?"

He questioned.

"None of my business... Until and unless you interfere in my life..."

She replied nonchalantly.

"If meeting is over then I'll take your permission..."

She stood up and walked inside. 

Skyler chuckled at her behavior.

"Interesting..."

He stood up as he saw Rose approaching him.

"Why you want to marry my Daughter?"

She questioned firmly.

"Because I can't marry you..."

Skyler chuckled and Rose gave him 'its not funny' look.

"Why not Rose?... Who won't want Rosetta?"

He questioned. 

"Do you really love her?..."

She sighed.

"Yes I do... You don't have to worry, I know Rosetta is just like you. She is Hard to understand but trust me, I will take care of her... You know me."

Skyler assured her. 

Rose nodded still reluctant and Skyler released a sigh.

'This drama won't be that easy...'
