“Do you think I should have gone with Remus in the third car?” Diana asked, as they were on their way home.

“No,” Rayvin said.

“Okay, something is up with you. Both of you. You have been strangely insistent that I don’t get involved in this operation. What’s up?” Diana asked Rayvin and Mikael.

“Don’t know what you’re talking about,” Mikael said.

“You’re sounding a bit paranoid, Diana,” Rayvin told her.

“Right,” Diana said, eyeing Mikael and Rayvin.

‘How long do we have to pretend we don’t know?” Mikael mind linked Rayvin.

‘Until she tells us,’ Rayvin insisted. Diana kept giving them irritated looks throughout the drive home. They got regular updates over phone. The third car had successfully handed over to Laika and was hanging back. They were heading away from the city. Ben waited for them outside the pack house and drew Diana in for a kiss as she stepped out of the car. Rayvin smiled at them.
