I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and a glass instead of two glasses as I normally would. Touching a glass cup reminded me of the incident at the bar with Duncan. I wasn’t the victim of the assault so it would be strange to say I was traumatized by the incident.

Anyway, I got back with it and Annie appeared to be waiting.

“One glass cup?” she muttered.

“Bonding,” I winked at her.

“I don’t want to do that with you,” she replied. However, she didn’t oppose it afterwards. “Who will go first?”

“We should flip a coin,” I suggested.

“Do you have one with you?” Annie asked. I shook my head in the negative so she said, “Since we have no coin, how about you go first?”

“Ladies first,” I insisted. This was the truth game and the one who started would decide the vibe. It could end up being serious or cool but it really depended on the first question.
