Zach's POV

We head to the training grounds that afternoon, hoping to see Zahra there. I’m still mulling over today’s revelations in my mind, trying to process how I’ve missed so much about my own sister. The training area buzzes with the usual energy of 250 wolves. The sun is starting to dip, casting long shadows over the field.

“Hey, have you seen Zahra around?” I ask Greg, Eliot’s dad, as we approach. Delta Greg is our head trainer and has a reputation for being tough but fair.

“Nope,” Greg replies, scanning the field with a practiced eye. He frowns slightly and adds, “She’s usually here by now.”

“She’s not here, man,” Oscar says, stepping in. “I’ve never seen her at training before. I’m sure Sebastian didn’t see her this morning; it must have been someone else.”

Greg’s expression darkens, and he rolls his eyes with a long-suffering sigh. “She’s got better attendance than you lot,” he says, his voice tinged with irritation. “You’re all too wrapped up in your own self-importance to no

Lincoln's POVSam and I finally arrive at Alpha Camp. It’s been a whirlwind few weeks, trying to secure his place here. I don’t want him challenging Dom yet, which meant writing directly to the King to make it happen. I’m not even sure if Dad knows he’s coming with me. That’ll be a fun conversation later.Logan and the others are driving separately, Dom at the wheel of his truck with the rest of them piled in. Honestly, that suits me just fine.“I didn’t think I’d ever come back here,” Sam says as we pull through the gates of the Royal Pack.“Will your cousin be here?” I ask.“No, Jason took over in the spring. None of them will be here now.”I nod, understanding. The Alpha King’s training camps are exclus

  • Scarred by fate    Chapter 184

Zahra's POVAs I bounce on the spot, trying to burn off restless energy, my mind is spinning. My body is brimming with unused adrenaline after the disappointing fights, and my anxiety nags at me with a persistent question—are the guys only hanging out with me because they see me as a baby?‘Calm down, Z. You’re spiralling. Don’t let those stupid girls get into your head. Nothing they said was true.’Zanthe’s voice is steady, and I know she’s right. But still… fourteen years of insecurities don’t vanish overnight. I can’t shake the suspicion that Nicholas has asked them to keep an eye on me. I take a deep breath, my eyes lingering on the lake. Its shimmering surface should be soothing, but it does little to calm the storm brewing inside me.Suddenly, a voice cuts throu

  • Scarred by fate    Chapter 183

Zahra's POVOne by one, everyone writes their name and drops it into the bowl. The tension is palpable as we wait for the next set of instructions. Baxter explains that since there are five referees, five sparring rings will run simultaneously. He begins pulling names from the bowl, announcing the first ten fighters.I’m not in the first round, but Bathroom Bimbo number 2 is. I glance at her opponent, someone I don’t recognize, and silently hope they wipe the smugness off her face. Those of us not chosen gather around the designated sparring areas. I manage to snag a great spot with a clear view of all the rings. Perfect for studying everyone’s fighting style. As I settle in, I realize I’m smack in the middle of Zach and his crew, as well as Tobias and his team. I can’t help the little smile that spreads across my face. It

  • Scarred by fate    Chapter 182

Zahar's POVWe step outside and see everyone heading back toward the training field. Jasper nods at me before striding off in another direction, leaving Oscar and me to merge with the flow of wolves.I take a deep breath, trying to shake off the encounter. We find the others standing together near the edge of the training field and head to join them. As we approach, another team strides over. The guy at the front doesn’t smell like an Alpha, but he has the overconfident swagger of one. He’s not as big as Zach or the others, and his face still carries traces of puppy fat—less chiselled, more entitled. He’s closer to my age than my brother’s, but the way he walks like he owns the ground is already irritating. He stops directly in front of me, his team fanned out behind him like a pack of wannabe tough guys. Extend

  • Scarred by fate    Chapter 181

Zahra's POVAiden leads me into the main cabin, and I take in the wide hallway with double doors on either side. The doors on the left open into what looks like a lounge and games room, while Aiden swings open the doors on the right to reveal a large cafeteria. The space is bright and bustling, with a food service bar along one wall and rows of tables filling the rest of the room. There’s a line of people waiting at the counter, and several omegas are busy serving food and restocking dishes. The smell of grilled meat, spicy sauces, and freshly baked bread hits me like a freight train, and my stomach growls loudly in response.Unfortunately, the moment we walk in, all eyes turn to us. I can feel the weight of their stares, and Tobias’s team closes ranks slightly around me. Their protective instincts are obvious, but I don’t need to be coddled. I’m perfectly capab

  • Scarred by fate    Chapter 180

Tobias's POVAfter a hasty breakfast in the residence dining room, I kiss my mother and sister on the cheek and head out, Felix close behind me. Neither of us speaks, which is one of the rare things I appreciate about my brother. When it’s just the two of us, he doesn’t feel the need to fill the silence. We climb into one of the jeeps, and I drive us down to the camp base. Felix looks like a kid on his way to a carnival, clearly eager to mingle with the young teams. When we arrive, several groups are scattered around the grounds. Some are eating breakfast at the picnic tables, while others are inside, likely fuelling up or prepping for the day. I spot most of my unit already gathered, talking with Shadow Pack’s future Alpha, Lincoln Grey, and another wolf I don’t recognize. From his scent, though, it’s clear he’s a Beta.I don’t know Lincoln well, and I prefer to keep it that way. His father, Alpha Grey, is a snake. I’ve spent years steering clear of the Shadow Pack and avoiding anyth
