Just like any usual weekends, Adamwould be at the Karza castle. He sat under the glass roof of his gazebo, looking ahead at the rose garden in front of him, all bloom gorgeously and the scent it release in the air was very soothing.
The maze near the garden stood eight foot tall, reminding him how as a child, he would go here to play with his mother.
Despite not having a father that should have spent more time with him as Adam had with his sons, he was grateful that he was able to be the man he is today.
Able to love his family without the fear of looking weak in the eyes of his people which end up becoming his father's main concern as king.
His mind was so affected by the death of his parents death that he was always cautious. Too cautious and his madness became the bane of his existence.
Adamlaid back on the chair with his white shirt unbutton. The weather was hot and windy and it calms the wolf inside of him to want to just lay down on the lush
Ariadne was again spending her evening in the comfort of the old bookstore in town. It has been a week since she last sees Abram once he stops visiting her home and no doubt her mother has her name written all over it. She understands somehow that the less they see each other, the better. Her wolf was quiet and she didn't feel that spark with him as much as he does with her. Plus, she was forbidden to tell anyone her true origin since her mother feared that people would want to hurt her and though she still questions the motive behind it, she respects Zara's intention and stick with it.Of course there was disappointment with her wolf for not responding to Abrams but that's life. We can't always get what we want.Shifting through the shelves at the furthest part of the library, Zara scroll through all the books she has read in the past. When a sudden grip made her hiss in pain, she was ready to turn and unleash hell upon the rude individual for hurting her un
Are you her actual kin, Ari? Is Eve.. Zara related to you?"She looked down and refuse to answer him."Ariadne. This is no joke. People's life is at stake. You need to tell me the whole truth."
A week agoAdam was just a few feet away from his mansion door when a grip on his hand made him turn, ready to attack whatever intruder that has enter his front yard. He was shocked to see Judy with her cloths ripped and blood dripping from the slashes marking her skin.
"How has it been, Adam? Truth to be told, I have missed you so much." Zara stood up and walk to the front of the desk. She sat on the edge of the desk and grin at Adam who looks very upset."What the hell are you talking about? What are you doing here, Zara? Why is there Naags in my building and in Dzhimara. What did you do?"
Zara woke up with sweat drenching her body. Her heart was beating fast in her chest and her eyes wildly run everywhere all over her bedroom to see if anyone was there. She cups her head and close her eyes, breathing deeply to calm her slightly panic fromShe stares outside and sigh. It was daytime and it was time to work. She got up and bring her aching body to her bathroom. She filled her tub and sat on the edge as her mind drift far.
It was the same dream all over again. The same setting, the same fall but yet, this time, it was slightly different. It was longer because unlike the other night, she hasn’t woken up. The same apparition floats with her, staring back at her with a soft, comforting smile. Zara didn't know what to say.“You know who I am, sister.”
Adam drops the green stone that had just glowed earlier into the small chest. He looks at Dominic feeling odd and confuse with what they had learned earlier. His sons sat on the couch near them and all hold a clueless face as well other than Abram who’s face wrecked with guilt. It broke his heart that his mate had cried including having to fight with her mother but the talk was necessary. They needed the truth.
“No! It is lies. Everything you have said is all a lie. I would... I would never..”Adam couldn’t sit and control her emotions anymore. Sitting there with the hybrid accompanied with his two sons and Dominic was nerve wrenching. Seeing the betrayal, disappointed and shock washed over their face made his wolf howl in shame and cries on the inside.
