Chapter 69 : Mine

Ariadne was again spending her evening in the comfort of the old bookstore in town. It has been a week since she last sees Abram once he stops visiting her home and no doubt her mother has her name written all over it. She understands somehow that the less they see each other, the better.

Her wolf was quiet and she didn't feel that spark with him as much as he does with her. Plus, she was forbidden to tell anyone her true origin since her mother feared that people would want to hurt her and though she still questions the motive behind it, she respects Zara's intention and stick with it.
