Chapter 52

After Jefferson finished his breakfast, the doctor said that Jefferson had to rest for about three days, and of course, Jefferson could not accept his statement.

Jefferson glared at him while taking medicine; fortunately, the doctor was aware of that. He changed his statement; Jefferson only needed a day's rest.

Jefferson stopped glaring at him, but he didn't smile either because he wasn't satisfied with his answer. But luckily, only Hayden hears that because Max and Owen go to the garage to get the car ready to go with Homer while Hugo is on the phone outside the room.

And as for Hayden, he only talks a little and won't answer questions that aren't for himself like Max often does. He would also be silent if he heard Jefferson lie to Hugo or Homer; he doesn't seem like someone who cares about his surroundings.

So it shouldn't be a problem; Jefferson going to tell them that the doctor says he can get back to work.
