Chapter 84: That Familiar Warmth Again

SUSHMITA'S POV:

ONE YEAR LATER…

“You're such a badass Mita! your baby is just one year old and you're here with me, clubbing!” Deborah shouted those words as we we're dancing in front of the dance floor while holding some drinks.

We were at the Fusion Paradise Bar having some tequila shots. They said that the owner of this Bar is a successful young lady at my age.

The music was too loud so no one heard her but me.

“What’s the problem with that?! I just wanna ease the pain, my husband is dead. I can't bring him back so I'm just gonna dance the night away,” I replied as the thoughts of Rodney flowed through my mind.

Our life together. Our hopes and dreams. Our ups and downs and our happiness. Our little Romita. I guess I’m so drunk tonight but I don't care. I just don't want to feel sad.

My head is spinning and my vision starts to blur but I don't want to leave Debbie so I will just dance with her until we get tired.

“Party, party!” Deborah shouted so I just smiled at her.
