Chapter 26

MARK

I watched as she walked into the bathroom and when she closed the door behind her I let out a sigh. I had no idea why I was nervous. I was a big, bad alpha. It was comical. I went to the walk in closet and changed into a pair of sleeping shorts and t-shirt. I would normally sleep without anything at all but i wanted her to be comfortable. I sat on the end of the bed and waited for her to come out of the bathroom so I could brush my teeth and wash my face. Hygiene was very important to me. She came out of the bathroom after a few moments and she looked really nervous. She slowly walked over to me. I thought she looked great in my clothes but then wondered what she would look like without any clothes at all. I needed to push those thoughts away. She was already nervous and I did not want to scare her even more. I stood up from the bed and walked over to her. I pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead.

"You look beautiful in my clothes." I whispered to her. She blushed.

"Thanks." She whispered.

"You can go ahead and get into bed. I put a bottle of water and a phone charger on the night stand for you. I would prefer that you are on the side of the bed furthest away from the door." I told her. I knew it sounded ridiculous as soon as the words left my mouth. I had seen her wolf and her fighting. I knew she could hold her own.

"Okay." she nodded and went over to the bed, climbing into it under the covers. I watched as she got herself comfortable. Then i went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and use the toilet. When I was completed I went out of the bathroom and into the room. I could smell her scent mixed with mine and it made zorro and myself so relaxed. The only light on in the room was the lamp on my side of the table. It gave a slight glow to the room. I didn't even need it with my werewolf sight but used it anyway. It was habit at this point. I made my way over to my side of the bed. I could see her laying there and with her even breathing I could tell that she had already fallen asleep. It made me smile. My mate in my bed. I couldn't be happier. I climbed into bed under the covers. Reaching over, i turned off the lamp. I rolled over and faced her. Getting as close as i could, I pulled her into my arms, breathing in her scent deeply. I knew it wouldn't take long before I would fall asleep. She sighed heavily in a contented way. It wasn't long before I closed my eyes and drifted off into a dreamless slumber.

A little while later I awaken to find I am alone in the bed. I begin to panic, sit up and look around the room. I see the balcony door open and she is sitting on the swing, looking up at the sky. Looking at the clock I see that it is 2 am. I climb out of bed and make my way to the balcony. I sit next to her on the swing.

"Is everything okay?" I ask her as I pull her into me, my arms around her. She just nods. I am beginning to get a little worried when she finally speaks.

"Everything is okay. I have always had trouble sleeping, since my mom passed. On nights like this I like to come out and talk to the moon, just believing that she can hear me." She explained. I nodded to that. I had never lost a family member and had no idea what she was going through but i felt awful about her loss. I knew that was a pain i would never be able to take away for her. She continued on.

"I was just telling her about everything that had happened and about meeting you. I talked about how nervous I am but also how I am happy at the same time. I am nervous that I will not be a good Luna but I will try my best." She said to me.

"You will be a fantastic Luna my angel." I said to her, kissing her forehead. She smiled up at me. I have never been so happy in my entire life. She is so beautiful and kind. I knew she was going to make a great Luna. I just hoped i could convince her of that. She was looking into my eyes and I was looking back her hers.

"you are so beautiful." I whispered to her as my face slowly moved closer to hers. She blushed and mumbled out a thank you but didn't move away. I saw her eyes look down at my lips and then back into my eyes and I knew it was okay to kiss her. My lips finally met hers and the sparks were like fireworks. The mate bond came to life and all the tingles I felt where we were touching just intensified. She responded to my kiss, opening her mouth, allowing me access to her tongue. Our tongues danced together and the kiss became very passionate. I began to smell her arousal and I knew that she could smell mine as well. Aside from the obvious tent that was in the front of my shorts. She moved a little and I could see that she had removed the shorts I had given her earlier. I knew they were a bit big so i was guessing that they were falling off and she was just getting tired of them. I wanted to take things further but I had promised her I wouldn't do anything she wasn't ready for. It surprised me a little when she moved to straddle me on the swing, her legs on either side of me, without even breaking the kissing. I could feel her chest against mine and her core was pressed against my erection. I let out a little growl when she put her hand up into the back of my hair and gave a slight tug.

"Angel, if we keep this up then things will go a lot further. you have no idea how much I want you." I growled, breaking apart the kiss, her forehead on mine. We both struggled for breath and her face was slightly flushed. Her already plump lips swollen from the kiss. She responded by bringing her lips back down to mine and grinding her hips into me, rubbing her core along my erection. I growled in response when she let out a slight moan. Her hands reached my hair again. I had my hands on her back, I slowly moved one down to her butt and then slide it inside of her soaking wet panties to rub one finger against her clit.
