Robert POV.

Seeing another man trying to take away what is mine brings out paranoia in me.

“Oh Cody, I’m so sorry. Can we do this some other time? I will make it up to you.” Marissa smooths things over. This Cody looks from her to me. He is brave for a human, but in terms of strength, he is no match for me.

“Of course, Dr Ramsey, I still have a thesis to finish, so I’ll head back to my dorm. It was a pleasure working with you today. See you tomorrow!” With that, he walks away.
