Chapter Thirty

"Fei'er, where are we going?" She was excited to know where her daughter in law wanted to take her. Immediately after getting inside car, this was the first question that she asked.

"Mother, didn't you sleep well last night? You look tired," even though she had tried to cover it with make up, Yang Lifei could still see the dark circles under her eyes.

"See Fei'er, I was so excited last night that I couldn't sleep. Your father said that I was being silly but I scolded him so he left me alone but he couldn't sleep as well. Can you imagine that old man? He said that he couldn't fall asleep if I didn't so he stayed up with me until in the morning," Madam Jin was so excited that she rambled on and on to Yang Lifei making her laugh.

"You guys are already so old but still so loving," their relationship was really enviable. It was just like her parents. But this was something that did not end so well in the previous lifetime. They all met some unfortunate endings. She wouldn't want a repeat.
