Chapter 15

Lydia kept pacing front and back in the living room waiting for Carson, who had insisted on speaking to Khloé alone all of a sudden.

She didn't know what the man wanted to discuss with her. He had taken her to his study, meaning it was important and serious. She cannot stop pacing around nervously.

Confusion was written all over her face. She didn't even understand why Carson had said he was making plans to enroll Khloé in the same school as Gary. When did she tell Carson that?

Aside from the fact that she doesn't have a job to raise money right now, Gary's school would be very expensive and she was sure of it.

“Lydia, calm down. Carson is only speaking with her” Anny said from behind and Lydia turned to her.

“Why are they taking so long? Do you know what they might be talking about?” She asked Anny who was tired of calming the woman.

“You know what? Why don't you go in there yourself and tell him you are really worried about him talking to your daughter?”

“No, no, I can't do that
