Instinct

It had been a week and the Lycan King hadn’t stopped in my room, I barely saw him at all. His mother didn’t look my way whenever I walked past her nor did she respond to my greetings. She always held her nose high in the air like I smelt bad or something equally revolting, but what the heck was I supposed to do? I didn't go out of my way not to talk with her either. The whole situation made me uncomfortable for some reason- no not his mother's behavior toward me but not hearing from the Lycan King or his whereabouts. My wolf instincts were still buzzing inside my head and she didn’t give any indication that she didn't feel the same, not that there was much evidence to show otherwise. 

Luisa stopped by to tell me the Lycan King was back and had asked me to join “them” for dinner. She handed me a box that had a black sequence dress and a pair of silver heels. Why would he buy me gifts when he wouldn't
