The Lycan King seemed to be avoiding. He didn't stop by my room again, he seemed to always hurry away when he saw me in the hallway. I didn't go beyond there. Luisa always stopped by with food and whatever I needed by that I meant whatever the Lycan King sent her to give to me. Sometimes we'll chitchat but not for long because she was scared of the Lycan King and was always hurrying away. I spent more time painting, the annual gathering for all werewolves from different packs was tomorrow and Luisa told me she was hyped up for it. She was going with Alfred, he was her mate and trust me when I say I didn't see it coming.

They were so into each other, Luisa looked like she could be floating in the air. I didn't think I was going, Leon always had the habit of telling me when it was five minutes before the occasion and I wasn't surprised that the Lycan King didn't tell me.

I was in my room when Luisa came in with a shopping bag, while wriggling her eyes suggestively.

“What's in the bag?”
