Chapter hundred and thirty-one

On an alert, we all whirled our heads in the direction where the sound was coming from.

My ear perked up with my eyes changing a darker shade of my wolf's eyes so that I could see clearly anything behind or lurking behind the wood.

Using the back of my palm, I lifted it with a wave exhorting them to remain calm and vigilant but just then someone emerged from the shadows.

"Alpha……!" With our eyes widening, we all say in unison.

Chuckling, he smiles at us especially when his eyes lock with mine.

"We thought that you left for your penthouse," I said. id as if I wasn't happy seeing him here.

"No! Sorry but I changed my mind," he said.

"Running will only make me seem like a fool and coward,"

I nodded at him with my eyes swiveling around in search of his pack members, "Where are your family and that of pack members?"

Looking behind him, he muttered, "You all can now come out,"

And just then, crowds started emerging from the trees and coming into view. Am confused though, why hide before?
