McKenna's POV.
I stared at the building in front of me in disbelief. I can't believe Dixon brought me here. I took my eyes off the building to look at him. He had both hands in his pockets as he stared in concentration at the building.
"A rehabilitation center?"
He shrugged his shoulders before moving closer to the building. I placed my hand on his biceps to stop him. I can't, for the life of me, understand why he brought me here.
"What are we doing here, Dixon? You said we were going somewhere. I didn't know you were bringing me to a rehab center?"
"You don't want to come? We could go back if you want. I only came because you promised to come with me." His eyes looked sad as he said that. My brain seemed to receive some signal as I remembered the promise I made him.
"It's okay. I'm sorry you went through all that. I could go with you if you don't mind."
