Chapter 10: Heartbroken

Lily was heartbroken after James proposed to Sarah. She tried to be happy for them, but she couldn't help feeling like she had lost something important.

She didn't want James to see how upset she was, so she tried to hide her feelings.

Lily started to distance herself from James and Sarah. She didn't want to be around them when they were so happy together.

She tried to focus on her work and her other friends, but it was hard. James was always in the back of her mind.

One day, Lily's friend Rachel confronted her about her mood.

"You've been so distant lately," Rachel said. "Is everything okay?"

Lily tried to brush it off, but Rachel could tell that something was wrong.

Lily finally broke down and told Rachel everything. She told her about her feelings for James and how she had lost him to Sarah.

Rachel listened sympathetically and offered her support.
