A MESS
New surroundings seem difficult for her. Deep inside her heart, she wants to join him.
“You don’t want this. Nobody told me like this. You don’t need to work hard in your life. If you have any problems with your job, I will help you. Just be here for a while.” Her rejection hurts him.
“But Daniel, Iam not feeling good these days after Ruby’s death and I don’t need help. I can able to manage my life with my current job,” she called his name for the first time. He seems a little happy hearing his name from her.
“I understand you. Iam also having a difficult time due to a fake relationship. Won’t you help me?”
“Um... I really want to. How about a hug?” she blurted.
“Really! Iam okay with that,”
‘Oh no, why did I tell that?’ she thought to herself, stepping towards him awkwardly. She slowly hugs him. A shiver ran down her spine. In response, he wraps his arms around her. She felt so nervous and wants to step away but also his scent, smell, being this close with him made her want to stay like this forever.
“Thanks for inviting me today. Hope everything gets better,” she whispered silently while hugging him.
“No problem. You can come here next time,”
She broke the hug and asked," Did you ever invite any common person to your mansion?"
‘Please don’t tell yes,’ she pleaded to herself.
“I think no,”
“Then why did you invite me?” Daniel doesn’t have an answer to it.
“Stop being annoying. You got some work, right?”
“Yeah. See you later,” she giggled without control and walked out.
“Boss, what can we do to all this food?” His personal assistant asked, showing the dinner arranged in his mansion after Caroline left.
“I got nothing to say. I think you guys didn’t eat. So, take it,” Daniel said in disappointment.
“Why did she reject your offer?”
“Don’t make me show my temper. She seems to be a challenging girl.”
“Why do you care about her? Do you like her?” his personal assistant curiously asks him?
“Michael, it’s time for you to go,” Daniel turned and glared at him.
“Sorry, boss,”

Chloe, Caroline, slowly opened the knob of the door when they reached home at the same time.
“Charlotte isn’t home yet,” Chloe mentioned, seeing the empty hall.
“Wait, where is Caleb?” Care closely looked at the hall. Silence prevails everywhere.
“You go search there,” Care ordered. Care searched all of their room. He’s nowhere to be seen. Suddenly she skipped over the mat and fell near the kitchen, strongly hitting her chin.
“Oh, my god! Chloe!” she shouted, seeing the mess in the kitchen. Caleb is lying on the floor unconscious.
“Caleb” Care shook him and poured water on him. Chloe ran into the kitchen. He slowly opened his eyes and stared at him, sisters.
“What have you done? Are you drunk?” Care scolded him.
“Yes... yes, Iam,” he choked and sat leaning on Chloe.
“We should have not left you alone, idiot. Can’t you take care of yourself?”
“I can’t. I won’t. I wane kill whoever killed Ruby. I won’t rest till I do that.” he shouted, slipping his fingers on his messed-up brown hair.
“What the hell is going on here?” Charlotte entered the kitchen.
“What if Becca killed Ruby?” Caleb ignored Charlotte.
“She can’t do that. How can she burn a whole house? That’s impossible,” said Care, keeping her hands on her head in frustration. Becca is such a bitch, but she won’t go to this level. No one can burn a house or fix a bomb.
“Can you all stop this? Iam so pissed off thinking about this. I want to go back to the days when everything was perfect,” Charlotte shouted hardly.
“There’s no going back. It’s time for revenge,” Caleb stupidly repeated the words over and over.
“The house won’t have burnt by itself. Maybe the crack happened by itself. So…” Care trailed off seeing Charlotte's face.
“Let me talk for a few minutes. Today I visited the owner of that house. They left Roshord a month ago. The house had been empty without anyone for a month because they just started building it. No one knows how it happened. According to the detective’s suspect, they are telling there’s a leak in the gas. It’s not a bomb, but when no one lives in the house, who might have leaked the gas? Who has gas and lives in a house which haven't built yet.” Charlotte tried her level best to talk calmly.
“Fuck. I don’t know what’s going on around us. It’s so confusing,” Chloe complained, kicking the nearby chair down. She only behaved so angrily at her home. When she’s outside, she can’t able to express her madness going on around Roshord high.
“Let’s talk about this tomorrow. Now everyone is going to help me clean this messed-up kitchen,” Care bossily said and caught a glimpse of her brother.
“Except you Caleb. Just go and rest,”
“Really? Sis,”
“Yeah. I know your loss.” She said in her most soft and worried voice. With a nod, he left the kitchen, stumbling to reach his room. Three of them cleaned up the mess until midnight.
“Tomorrow Caleb should go to school. We can’t leave him here like this again.” Charlotte expressed her opinion in anger. She has always been a stress-free girl who won’t care about anyone or anything. This new change is haunting her.
After Care was alone in her room, she took her diary and wrote about the day and she drifted off to sleep having her diary opened in her hands, pen lying on the floor. Sometimes thinking about Daniel gives her relief.
....
The next morning, Caleb walked into school without a damn interest. If Charlotte didn’t compel him, he would have stayed at the home and maybe he won’t even graduate from school. Nobody has ever seen a boy fall for a girl like this.
“Hey man, you are back. Iam so glad to see you.” Elliot hugged him.
“Thanks,” He simply said without life in his voice. He looked at his nearby bench where Ruby will be seated with him most of the day. It’s empty. He’s glad no one had taken that place.
“Here comes the mourning boy. Where’s your girlfriend? Did she take leave?” Wes made an entry and made fun of him. Caleb can’t control his anger.
“Go away, you bastard,” Elliot shouted, but Wes completely ignored and sat on Ruby’s bench.
“Get up,” Caleb commanded, trying his best to control his behaviour in class after some days.
“I won’t. What can you do?” Wes smirked at him.
“You fucking son of a bitch,” Caleb got up from his bench.
PASSED OUT Caleb punched his nose hard. Wes’s eyes watered. He was shocked by his sudden action. “How dare you?” Wes hissed, touching his bleeding nose. Tiffany stood beside Wes in surprise. Without warning, Wes punched Caleb in his stomach. He clutched his stomach in pain. Both sprang into action, fighting each other. All the students watched them but didn’t take a step to stop them. Tiffany motivated Wes to fight. Elliot’s trying to stop Caleb from fighting. “Professor Scott is coming. Stop fighting,” Bianca warned them, who they didn’t even hear her. She’s a Raven group cheerleader. She’s more concerned about Caleb because he got hurt in his life more than anyone. The footsteps got closer, and Scott entered the class, standing near the door. “What’s happening here? someone explain it,” He commanded. “I don’t know, sir. They are fighting. No one can stop them,” Bianca said in a panicked voice, staring at the p
WHAT A GREAT EMBARRASSMENT? “It’s me, Jason Lee. Don’t tell me you lost your memory?” He stepped towards her with a bowl of fried rice. “What’s this place?” Charlotte rubbed her eyes more than once. “It’s my home. You passed out. I took leave for both of us. Now how are you feeling?” He asked her with concern. “Somewhat okay. I haven’t eaten for a day.” “That’s why you need to eat,” Jason said, bringing a spoon full of rice to her mouth. “Are you going to feed me? Iam not a...” He fed her, stopping her from finishing speaking. “Hmm...it tastes good. I want more.” she licked her lips. Jason laughed and fed her until the bowl was empty. “You took leave for me. You may have any other works in a school.” “I have. Today we have swimming practise before the competition,” “Then why you take leave? You are the coach,” “I got it, dear. I appointed the best swimmer to take my place
BIANCA’S REQUEST A stern security guard looked down at four of the girls. They embarrassed Tiffany and got embarrassed by sneaking out on someone and sitting on the floor. “We... I am... we... are sorry,” Taylor stammered, and they ran before he said another word. When they came out, Tiffany and her friends already left. That’s a good thing. “Phew… we escaped,” Chloe let out a breath and looked at Ian, who was laughing at them. “Ridiculous girls. Now get in the car. Show time is over,” He called them and they followed him to his car. Ian took a seat in the driver's seat and Taylor was about to take a seat next to him. With hesitation, she turned towards Chloe. “Do you want to seat with him. He’s your date. I can’t interfere," she teased. “Nope. We are friends. Am I right, Ian?” Chloe asked and took a seat next to Sara and Sookie. “Yeah right.” He added, and Taylor kept silent for the rest of the time. …
Caroline stood in front of the mirror, seeing her new dress. She is wearing a simple light blue half-shoulder dress. The cafe is perfectly arranged in school. Care, Bill, Clary, and the others cooked everything. Lowe’s family got ready early. There’s more time for the party. “Am I looking cute?” Charlotte asked her sister. She’s in Light grey tulle with flowers fashionable party dress. “Perfect. You seem so happy?” “Homecoming isn’t for me but Iam going to see Jason,” she winked. Chloe and Caleb waiting in the hall. Ring. Ring. Caroline took her phone to see who was calling at this time. “Daniel,” she spoke with excitement. They both talked on the phone sometimes after she visited his mansion. But she didn’t expect him to call at this time. “You are leaving for the party, right?” “Yes. Come outside,” he commanded. She didn’t question him and came out of her house. She is shocked to see a limo right in front of her house. The bl
GOODBYE He took her to the Balcony through the stairs. It’s the best view to see the night sky, stars. “I will come here regularly to find some peace,” he breathed slowly. She nodded and was lost in thoughts. “So, what do you think of me?” He asked her still looking at the sky. “You are a celebrity and I always admired your movies,” he stopped her by telling “Whoa, stop. Iam not asking about the past when I don’t even know you. Tell me, what do you think of me after we met?” He explained. “I... I was disappointed at first seeing you with a Becca. Then I fixed something in my mind. You are rude and mean in real life just like her. Soon, I didn’t feel like you were bad. Iam still regretting slapping you in front of everyone.” “Iam so over it. I didn’t feel embarrassed,” “Why you didn’t get angry with me? You can even make my life miserable for slapping you. Why you didn’t do that?” she widened her eyes waiting for answer
BEST FRIEND’S PROPOSAL ‘I think I heard it wrong,’ Care told to herself. “Is it true?” she asked him with a wild look in her eyes. Bill had no choice but to tell the whole truth. “You shouldn’t be angry with me. I am the one who contacted him through your phone. I told him about the video and for the return I asked him not to talk with you ever again. Daniel has been ungrateful to me for talking with you again.” Bill explained everything furiously. “Whoa, I can’t able to catch but why do both of you lie to me? What’s the matter with you? Why do you care about him talking with me? And why did Daniel try to contact me even though he knows Iam not the one who sent it. Iam confused. You are confusing me,” Care muttered fast and had a tight grip on the plate till her hands got hurt. “That’s all I can say.” Bill wasn’t ready to tell everything. “Don’t you dare talk to me again? You used my phone without permission and you cause all
DON’T DO IT Shiver ran down her spine when she recognized the voice. “Becca. What are you doing here?” Care boldly spoke. She was expecting Chloe, but Becca showed up instead of her sister. “Will you believe me if I said Iam here to kill you?” Becca laughed, keeping both of her arms behind her back. “Are you insane? What are you talking about? I don’t have time to chit-chat with you,” Care calmly replied, stepping forward. “You are probably right because you won’t have time to live your life. I know you are the reason for my break-up,” Becca snarled. “I... Iam not the reason. You misunderstood,” Care stammered. She doesn’t need to be afraid of Becca, but today something doesn’t feel right. “Don’t act innocent. You want to steal him from me. Well, congratulation. You did it. I don’t know why you and your sisters are always interfering in my life. Caleb never liked me and now he will never look at me,” Becca shouted, and
MURDERERS Caleb reached the class at first before Charlotte. He slammed the door open and hurried to Caroline’s side within a blink of an eye. Becca was stunned to see him for a moment. “What are you doing here?” she asked, dropping the gun down. “I called him. Do you have the courage to kill my brother? Since he’s your crush,” Caroline smirked victoriously. Becca doesn’t have a plan to kill Caleb. She can’t able to execute her plan. “Seriously, I don’t want to know who took the footage. I want to get this over. I can’t wait anymore.” She changed her mind and was about to kill both of them. This is her one last option. She pulled the trigger. Care was shot in her arms. Becca isn’t an expert in shooting, even though having her own gun. “Just a little mistake. Now I will take the right aim,” “No. Have you lost your mind?” Caleb growled and caught his sister, who is stuck in the same place holding her arms to stop the blood. In a
