PASSED OUT

Caleb punched his nose hard. Wes’s eyes watered. He was shocked by his sudden action.

“How dare you?” Wes hissed, touching his bleeding nose. Tiffany stood beside Wes in surprise. Without warning, Wes punched Caleb in his stomach. He clutched his stomach in pain. Both sprang into action, fighting each other. All the students watched them but didn’t take a step to stop them. Tiffany motivated Wes to fight. Elliot’s trying to stop Caleb from fighting.

“Professor Scott is coming. Stop fighting,” Bianca warned them, who they didn’t even hear her. She’s a Raven group cheerleader. She’s more concerned about Caleb because he got hurt in his life more than anyone.

The footsteps got closer, and Scott entered the class, standing near the door.

“What’s happening here? someone explain it,” He commanded.

“I don’t know, sir. They are fighting. No one can stop them,” Bianca said in a panicked voice, staring at the professor and them.

“If you are not going to stop. I will stop it.” He shouted. He’s a young man, just like them. Scott won’t be afraid to beat them, but as a teacher, he can’t behave like them and lose his value.

“Just give up or I will kill you. Go to hell and join Ruby,” Wes growled in between the fight. Each word makes Caleb knock him out. Well, he did it. Caleb hit him on the jaw and knocked him out.

“That’s it. Iam calling principal,” Scott took his phone while Elliot trapped Caleb by his arms leave him Cal. Please. You already are in trouble,”

“I don’t care” Caleb struggled to get out of Elliot’s hold and kick Wes till he dies.

“Three of you, go to the principal’s room. Now,” Scott shouted from his throat.

“Why should I need to go?” Tiffany questioned.

“You are the one motivated, Wes. Don’t act innocent, Tiffany.” Bianca scolded her. Three of them paced their way out of the class. Everyone in the class is staring at them with wide eyes without blinking.

“The show’s over. Take your books. Bianca monitors the class,” Scott ordered, and walked with them. Caleb just walked silently, bending his head down hiding the bruises in his eyes and face.

“Caleb, you stupid,” Charlotte shouted and walked over to him before they reached the principal’s room.

“Shout at me as much as you want, Char. What I did was right,” he replied harshly.

“Don’t tell me you are right. This isn’t a place to fight.”

“Oh right. I will fight with him outside the school if he still has some courage.”

“Deal. I have courage. You are the one who should be afraid,” Wes growled.

“Whatever you want to talk, talk in front of the principal,” Scott simply said and stopped their non-stop threats.

“Come in,” madam Jessica, the principal answered to their knock on her door.

“You are the spoiled brats in our school. Now explain everything,” she ordered. Caleb spoke before Tiffany or Wes started. They both would have made up a story and blamed everything on him.

“So, you are fighting over a dead girl,” she said calmly. Her wrinkles are easily visible as she is aged.

“It’s not exactly a dead girl. Give some respect.”

“I know what to do.” Jessica stood up, putting her hands on the table with a loud sound.

“Ruby is a very beneficial student. No one can be like her and you should have not mocked her,” Jessica pointed at Wes and Tiffany.

“Caleb started the fight,” Tiffany accused him.

“Then what you did. You encouraged Wes to fight back. You should be ashamed of this,” Tiffany puts her head down and Jessica turned towards Caleb.

“Don’t think Iam forgiving you. Inside the school campus, what you did was wrong. I would have suspended three of you for some days,” she told and stayed silent for a moment.

“But soon there will be a homecoming and I don’t want to exclude you. Iam not having time for your silly problems so just get the punishment from Scott and leave,” she breathed heavily and sat on her table putting her spectacles back.

“Iam sorry mam,” Charlotte asked sorry for her brother’s attitude.

“It’s okay. Just watch her brother’s behaviour next time,” Charlotte nodded and glanced at her brother.” I will talk with you after school.” she dug her nails into her palm and walked from his view.

Caleb has never been like this. He won’t cause problems. His new attitude is driving her crazy. She desperately wants to talk with anyone and pour her anger. By the time she reached the caffeine. It’s almost noon, but she didn’t even eat from last night. A boy took the order, but she hoped to see Caroline instead of some other server.

“Can I join you, beauty?” Jason distracted her from her upsetting thoughts. In a worried and tired state, she doesn’t even notice him.

“Yeah,” she replied absent minded.

“Something’s wrong, dear. You seem pretty upset,” he held her hands sitting on the table on the opposite side.

“It’s all because of my brother and the whole reason behind it is Ruby’s death,” Charlotte spoke without hesitation and disappointment in her tone. After the ordered food came, she filled him with everything.

"Your brother did nothing but defend for his girlfriend."

“I know, but he’s causing more trouble. He might have suspended if there’s no homecoming,”

“Charlotte, calm down for a minute and eat,” He spoke slowly and make her cool down. She’s a little bit relieved that she shared this with him.

“Now eat your lunch,” he motioned towards the meals she ordered, which is laying untouched. She hesitated a little before taking her spoke. Suddenly, she fainted and fell from the table. The last face she looked at was Jason. Then everything went blank.

Charlotte doesn’t know what time it is? When her vision came back, she’s in unknown surroundings. She’s lying in a soft, comfortable bed covered with a blanket. She’s still wearing the same dress and there’s no one in the room. Her body felt weak and so tired that she couldn’t even move her body from the bed. Someone entered the room at that time and she can’t able to see who it is due to her blurry vision.

“who’s that?”
