Chapter 17

Sammie's Pov

I was at the servants quarters when Richard came in to fetch me. He was one of the palace drivers and most times drove Flora and Veronica to wherever he was assigned to.

" You must hurry now, Lady Veronica seeks your presence immediately", he said.

" Is anything the matter,did she tell you what the problem is?", I asked

" No she didn't but she looks very much disturbed and asked that you meet her at the royal garden this minute", he replied and left

I was quite confused, Veronica had never come in search for me at the quarters and I was sure that whatever had brought her here was really very serious.

I got up immediately, dressed properly and left to meet her at the garden. I just hoped it was nothing serious and that she did not want me to do anything crazy for her.
