Chapter 23: Cemetery thoughts

I ended up in the cemetery. Yes... I know how morbid it sounds. But I had to see them. Nowadays I'd developed a sense of... Emotions. Maybe it was the fact that Ryker slash Deamian had made me see things differently. But I'd prefer not to think of him too much, I was still pretending to be upset.

The nightmares were also still haunting me, and part of me believed that coming here, paying my respects… seeing those very closed graves, would help ease my worry. Despite trying to become a better person, these nightmares had me worn out to the point where I wasn’t sure I was as strong as I once was before.

As I walked, I couldn’t help but notice how my body shook, how flashes of Martha, my parents and the other corpses filled my mind. I knew I needed to do this though, so I gritted my teeth and continued to walk.
