Chapter Eighteen

Xander’s POV

Two weeks after Willow left

I can’t believe Ronan just let our Luna leave. We have waited so long for our mates, and he was lucky enough to finally find his and he just lets her walk off. What a stupid, arrogant man he is. Now I am trying to find her, but she left no paper trail of any kind. Not that I am surprised, she is a private detective, so she knows how to fly beneath the radar. Pete has been beside himself and Ronan, well Ronan has been basically a non-entity. He stays holed up in his room constantly. If I didn’t see him daily to force him to eat, people would think he was dead.

“This is impossible. She could be anywhere by now,” Pete says with a voice full of defeat.

I walk over and place my hand on his shoulder, causing him to pause his search on the computer, “She isn’t going to go too far Pete, trust me. She cares too much about you to just leave you here forever.”

“She had no problem denouncing the pack and leaving me here, so whose to say she wont leave Mont
