Paul spent the next few minutes explaining what had happened. Andre frowned. "So you are not fully sure that the one you met in the pub was a witch. All you know for certain is that you have a spell that lifted." Andre said. Paul thought for a moment. "Yes, but my guess would be that it was her." He said. "The timing lines up." Paul said. Fenris nodded his head. "Let's make sure first. We will only get one chance at it. Once the word is out that we are looking for a witch, she will be impossible to find." Fenris said. They all looked at each other and went silent. They were all trying to think of a way to find the witch or possibly flush her out.

"I think we may have a bigger problem." Enza surmised. "It is evident that someone sent her after you. We have to figure we may have a traitor in the pack." Enza said. They all looked at each other. "Why do you say that Enza?" Fenris asked. She looked pensive. "The witch not only knew where to find him, but when. The only ones that would know

Andre and Paul had spent the last several days making plans to flush out the traitors in the pack. They were careful about the things they did and who they spoke to. At that moment, they were not sure who they could trust. It was important that everyone stayed focused. It was very difficult for he Alpha to focus on task when all that he could think bout was Breonna. She haunted his thoughts, his dreams and his body. Although she was nowhere near him, sometimes he felt that he could smell her scent in the middle of the night. He was counting each and every day until they could marry. It was starting to get unbearable. It was taking all the strength that Paul had to go on day to day. He imagined how good it would feel to bury himself inside of her. He craved to hear her sweet moans in his ear. He wanted her so wet that he could smell her arousal all over him. He had come close to ruining the sheets many nights because of vivid dreams. It was driving him near insanity to dream of dippin

Paul continued to drive in silence as Andre watched him cautiously the entire time. Shortly after Paul got sick, they pulled up to the pub. Andre had only been to the club a few times before and he despised it. As he pulled up to the pub, he felt differently. He did not have the same feelings of anticipation and excitement. Instead he felt a feeling of dread and nausea. Andre studied him for a moment. "Will you be ok? You do not look pleased at all to be here." Andre asked. Paul simply nodded. "Yeah, I will be okay. I have to remember this is for the safety of the pack." He said. Andre nodded his head, "Let's do this." When Paul and Andre walked in the pub, every eye was on them. Especially the females. Some of them made subtle gestures to get their attention. Others were more overt and pulled out a chair for us to sit as they neared their tables. Paul played his part well. He smiled at some and winked at others. Paul even flirted with the ones that were more open with what they want

It was rare that Beta Andre was so serious. He could not forget the witch that attacked Paul. The average witch would be hard to deal with. Yet, this witch sounded like she was more powerful than they could handle. From what he understood this witch was no joke. She could easily take out their pack with a thought. This put the pack in a position that they had never been in. Paul had asked Andre to speak with the pack today, but had not given any reason as to why. He assumed that it was becausethe Alpha was too disappointed in the traitors in his pack to face them. Yet, Andre felt there was something going on that the Alpha was not sharing. The Alpha simply did not look well. He had been watching him closely and noticed he did not seem to be eating. It had started to bother him so much that he spoke to Fenris. Fenris reminded him that he was probably more love sick than anything else. Andre did understand how difficult the wait to marry was. After all, he was married to Paul's mate i

EnzaEnza watched as Paul and Andre threw their bags of clothes into the car trunks. She watched as the men made a big show of checking to make sure that they had everything they needed for their trip. Their acting skills had to be commended. If anyone were looking at them, they would definitely think that they were leaving for a short trip. Only a few trusted members of the pack knew that they were no going anywhere far away. As a matter of fact they would be close by. Enza could feel a nervous sense of foreboding running through the pack. If she would be honest, she felt just as nervous as the pack did. Sadly, there was nothing that she could say to reassure the pack. She wished that she could tell them that everything would be ok. She wanted to be able to give them a pep talk and be confident that she was telling the pack the truth. She believed in the pack but she was concerned about a powerful witch that worked for the Sullivans. She felt a nervous feeling in the pit of her st

Everything was depending on Enza at this point. Everything depended on how quickly she could relay information through the link that she and Andre shared. They could not risk using the pack link because that could tip off the traitor. It had taken Enza and Andre hours to be able to communicate through the link. They could always sense each other's emotion and rarely hear the other's thoughts. Yet, this was different. The entire packs safety depended on how effectively that she could communicate a clear message to Andre in seconds. She was extremely nervous. This was something that they never had done before. She knew that this meant everything. It also meant the safety of her daughter. She missed her daughter but glad that she had sent her away.Earlier She had sent Janae to Andre's parents as a precaution. The fact was that they could possibly be at war at any time. FenrisFenris had took the short way back while Enza, Paul and Andre took care of the traitors. He had stoopped in the woods and watched the rest of the pack head back to Spane territory. A few of the pack glanced at him. They looked as though they wondered why he was standing there. He had stopped for a specific reason, nothing having to do with traitors. He stood patiently by the big row of trees that separated the Spane and Sullivan properties.Fenris was in his human form. He leaned against the largest tree, making himself comfortable. He did not care how long he had to wait. He was determined that he was going to wait for his son, the great Alpha Paul, to come around the corner of trees. Minutes later, he sensed him. As soon as he came around the corner, his father grabbed him. He punched him in the ribs causing a loud cracking noise that echoed through the woods. He cringed when he heard him yelp and his eyes misted with tears. Yet, this had to be done.He did not want to hurt h

Malcolm watched the way that Fenris was eyeing his son. It was very obvious that Fenris was not happy with the Alpha at that moment. He had received the same look from his own father. A part of him almost felt sorry for the Alpha. Yet, he was relieved that whatever had caused Fenris to be upset with his son had nothing to do with him and the Sullivan pack. Paul had never shifted from his wolf. That was never a good sign. If an Alpha merely wanted a discussion with another pack leader, he would arrive in his human form. Yet, when an Alpha was ready for battle, he would always arrive in his wolf. He would stand strong in front of his pack. Although Paul was in front of his powerful pack, he no longer appeared ready for battle. He actually looked like he wanted to be anywhere but where he was now. He only met his father's eyes for a moment. He hung his head as if he felt shame for some unknown reason. Fenris stared at Paul a few more moments. Suddenly the wolves started to leave and h

At the mention of traitors in the Spane Pack, Fenris turned to face Malcolm. "How would you know we are looking for traitors?" Fenris asked with suspicion in his voice. Malcolm made sure he kept his voice calm and steady. "They approached us a little while ago. They told us that they were members of the Spane pack. They offered to get us information for payment." Malcolm said. Fenris sneered and chuckled. "Of course, the honorable man that you are, you did not take them up on that offer." Fenris stated sarcastically. Malcolm looked him in the eye without blinking. "I am an honorable man, but I am not stupid. I know that it would only be a matter of time before Paul attacked us. I would be a fool if I did not get any information that I could." Malcolm said honestly."So, what did they tell you?" Fenris asked. Malcolm continued to hold his gaze as he responded. "They said that Enza was now weakened, because she had recently given birth. They suggested killing her because she is the Beta

Malcolm was trying to come up with a way that they could possibly get out of the situation alive. He did not fear Paul, but it was too many unknowns when it came to him. He had no idea if they were about to face a few wolves or hundreds. They had not figured out how Paul was so resistant to Vera's magic and spells. If Paul decided to declare war at this moment, there was no doubt that they would all be slaughtered in minutes. He looked at the sniveling pieces of wolf dung in front of him. If they had never came here, none of them would be in this dangerous position. He sighed, he could not think of any way out of this, except one. He hated the thought of diplomatic nonsense. Yet, what choice did he really have? If diplomacy was the only way to save his family, he would swallow his pride and try it. He looked at his mother. The stress had started to get to her. She was usually smiling and would light up a room with her presence. Now, she looked tired and older than ever. This business

After the Alpha and Beta had left, there was only Fenris and Enza left. They were socializing and not on a lookout." Anthony said to them with disgust at their cowardice. "When Fenris stood up to get Enza a drink, we slipped past them. I assure you we covered all of our bases." Anthony said. Sibean rubbed his neck where the king was choking him. "We left three wolves behind to keep an eye on them." Sibean cleared his throat. "Now let's talk about that extra compensation."
