Aurora

A low growl rumbled deep in his chest—yes, in his chest—suppressed yet powerful enough to vibrate through the trees. The kind of sound that would send any innocent creature fleeing for its life.

But me? I wasn't innocent. And fear was the last thing I felt.

The sound thrilled me.

The beast beneath his skin thrilled me.

That raw, aching hunger bleeding through his restraint—it made my pulse race.

I had to give Jaxon credit. To cage something that wild took strength most men didn't possess. But he wasn't just any man. He was an Alpha—and power clung to him like a second skin.

And it only made me want him more.

"Seems like the beast is craving a piece of me," I murmured, still half-turned toward him. "So does the man, too, or are you hanging by a thread, Alpha?"

My eyes flicked to his lips, then climbed to his face.

His grip on my hair and neck tightened. "Listen to me very carefully, Poppet." His voice was low, dangerous. "You're going to do two things if you don't want me callin

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   A Performance

AuroraThe workers were heartbroken when I told them the club would be closed for a while. Their faces dim as they collected their things. The club had been their second home, and closing it—indefinitely—felt like ripping the heart out of this place. It was indeed going to be closed for a long while and I wasn't happy about it either.I didn't even have a date for reopening. I couldn't—not when I didn't know when I would be back in my own pack again. Worse...even be alive to reopen my club."I'm going to miss you, ma'am," Sharon murmured, her eyes soft and glossy."Come here," I said, pulling her into a tight hug. "I'll be back as soon as I can. And don't worry about payments—you'll still get your salary every month. Make sure the girls know that too, okay?"She nodded, lips trembling. "Please... just be safe.""I will," I promised softly. When she walked out, the door clicking shut behind her, silence swallowed the room whole. The club felt wrong when it was this quiet. The stage sto

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Ready For The Storm

Jaxon "Wait—what?" Christopher stared at me like I'd slapped him, pure shock written across every inch of his face, "Lilith and Baron? I thought all those bastards were dead!"A slow, unhappy breath left me, "They're not. I thought they were too, but... no. They're very much alive. I was the gifted with the unfortunate of talking to them.""Oh God..." Aurora's mom, Nina, pressed a hand to her chest. "What are you planning to do now?""There's nothing to plan," Christopher barked, launching to his feet like a rocket. "Call your people. I'll call mine. We hunt the bastards down and kill them."Classic Christopher. All muscle, zero patience, no survival instinct. If stupidity didn't kill him one day, it'd be the stress he caused me. But the man had a heart bigger than his brain, and he'd thrown that heart in front of danger for me more times than I deserved."Chris, that's not going to work," I said, standing as well. "They've built an army. A trained one. We don't know their numbers, t

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Unsaid Promises

Aurora"I think you should head home, Aurora," Jaxon muttered for the fifth time, unable to keep his damn mouth shut even as I cleaned the gash across his ribs. It was deep—bone-deep—but his healing abilities were already knitting the edges together. Still, the pain had to be excruciating. And yet he sat there, jaw tight, breathing steady, as if it were nothing more than a scratch. He was truly something else."I'm not going home, Jaxon," I said, fastening the last strip of bandage with a stubborn snap. My voice left no room for argument. But again, he was Jaxon Blackwood. He didn't fucking care."Don't you understand?" he hissed, frustration simmering beneath the low rumble of his tone, "I just got attacked, Aurora. And that prick has his eyes on you. He wants you and for all the worse reasons. What if he comes back? We don't have enough protection here—hell, we barely have any at all and I have got this damn wound on me, I can't even fight my best with this problem."My jaw ticked as

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   It’s A War

AuroraFor a heartbeat—just one—everything went still. A lethal tension stretched between the two men, silent and suffocating. My chest tightened, my hands trembled. This wasn't....a good sign.No wind. No rustle. No breath. The silence before the storm— a deadly warning."Jaxon..." I whispered, nerves coiling tight, "Please don't do this.""If this bastard thinks he can walk in here, threaten me, and leave unscathed, he's wrong, Poppet." His voice—flat, final—was razor sharp. The calm, measured Jaxon was gone. His body was coiled for war; determination carved into every line of him, every strong line of him, "He's going to die.""Nickname, huh?" Baron smirked. "Poppet? A bit old-fashioned... like you."Jaxon chuckled, it was low, "Then let me show you what this old-fashioned Alpha can do. Come here, boy. Let's see if you walk back with your head still attached."Baron's expression flickered—surprise, then hunger."Gladly," he purred. And then—everything detonated.Baron lunged. Not a

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Danger Exploding

AuroraAs his voice rolled through the walls. a cold shock slithered down my spine. That man wasn't scared to be here in another person's territory and mostly, despite everything he didn't sound scared of Jaxon—and when a man isn't scared of Jaxon, you had to fucking know that he had to be dangerous."It's Baron, right?" I whispered, barely audible even to myself.Jaxon's gaze snapped to me, startled. "How did you know?""Your pretend girlfriend told me," I muttered, "Now can you focus on the fact that he's right outside your house? What are we going to do?""I don't know why he's here. Stay inside, alright?" He turned toward the door, but I caught his hand, stopping him."I'm coming with you.""What?" He stared at me like I'd grown two heads. "No. You're not.""Yes, I am, Jaxon. Unless you want me to fight you, beat your ass, and walk out anyway—your choice."There was no way I was letting him go out there alone without knowing if Baron was here by himself or was here with his people

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   The Wrong One

Aurora"I should've never agreed to clean with you," I groaned as he lifted me again, his hands locked firmly around my waist."Change the curtains, Aurora. Quickly. We have a lot more to do," he chuckled, far too entertained for someone holding me up in the air.Groaning, I grabbed the rod and slipped the loops in place, "Can't we just use a ladder? And besides—we had a rule of no touching." My voice tightened with frustration as he lowered me, his breath ghosting over the back of my neck, warm and slow, sending shivers racing through my skin. This—this was exactly why I hated this arrangement. He was making me forget my own rule. And worse, a shameful part of me liked that he was breaking it. I'd planned to make him suffer at least a little, make him work for every inch—but he was ruining that plan with just his touch.God, it was infuriating. He was going to win easy and clean this way."I don't have a ladder," he said, handing me another pair of pure white curtains. "So cooperate.
