Eliana:
“I just got out of the building” I said into the phone, Mrs. Nermine was waiting for my call to see if I messed everything up, I wasn’t dumb to do so, I had a debt to pay and I sure as hell didn’t have the money to pay it, I don’t even think I’ll ever have the amount I took from her to pay her back for it.
“And? Did he ask anything? You didn’t tell him about anything right?” Mrs. Nermine asked quickly, I rolled my eyes and sighed, did she really think that I was that stupid? The woman was clearly underestimating me, for known reasons, yes, I didn’t have a degree, and I took a debt from a woman I didn’t technically know, but I wasn’t that stupid.

Eliana:“I don’t even know how to walk in these” I said referring to the heels Mrs. Nermine wanted me to try on, their red color enchanting, but I couldn’t walk in them.“What girl doesn’t know how to walk wearing heels?” Mrs. Nermine asked frowning in confusion, her expression genuine.“Me?” I answered, though my answer sounded like a question, she nodded at me and encouraged me to wear the heels, I looked at them with worry in my eyes, fearing falling in them or breaking them, I would never be able to pay their price if they broke.“We’re going shopping after this. You need to look your very best when meeting my Alessio” Mrs. Nermine said casually, her eyes on my ankles as I wore the heels. She nodded at me to stand up and walk in them, I hesitated for a second before doing as told and standing up, taking a step forward and almost tripping on my weight as I walked like some penguin.
