Meeting with Charles

Aden Bruce POV

I was trying to focus on my work. I didn't want to make her regret her decision. That man was telling me about my job and then he handed over me some files and asked me to go through them before starting my work.

I hated reading but I read it for my love. I was busy reading that when someone knocked the door and entered my cabin. It was a man not too young not too old.

I didn't realize that he was Charles Grayson until I noticed his eyes. Mel eyes were just like him. I said hello to him and he sat down. He didn't say anything and was looking at me and That was an awkward situation for me.

Charles "So you like my daughter?"

Such a blunt question. I was nervous

Aden "Yes Sir."

Charles "Are you sure you really love her?"

Aden "What do you mean by that?"

Charles "It could be just attraction and you named it love?"

Aden "Attraction can't be this much lingering. I am loving her since the night I met her.
