"Chelsea, are you on your way to the hospital?"

The doctor urged again on the phone. Chelsea glanced at her phone and still got no reply from her husband.

Last night, Russell Murillo was wasted when he got home from a dinner party.

So, Chelsea had to take care of Russell throughout the night. Then, she got sick from a cold.

She woke up with a high fever the next morning.

She was too sore to get out of bed, but the hospital called her to go over and check on her mother, Shirley.

Chelsea turned to Russell for help, but he simply hung up on her.

She sighed while she kept dialing his number.

But Russell simply blacklisted her.

Chelsea stared at the phone screen with hollowed eyes. How could he? This was what she deserved after looking after him the whole night?

He got up in the morning and left without a word, while she fell asleep at the coffee table in the living room, without a blanket. Now he wouldn't even bother to pick up her calls.

Fighting back the headache, Chelsea called the doctor and asked, "I'll be there in the afternoon. Will that be OK?"

She planned to visit the hospital in the afternoon after she got some strength back.

"Chelsea, you know Shirley's condition. We are very concerned about her." The doctor sighed.

"Alright. I will be there soon."

After she hung up the phone, she pondered for a moment and called Winston, Russell's secretary.

"Mrs. Murillo, what can I do for you?" Winston's voice came through the phone.

"Get Russell for me. It's urgent." Chelsea's voice was weak.

Winston hesitated for a moment and said, "Well, Mr. Murillo is in a meeting."

"I see." Chelsea hung up the phone in disappointment.

She struggled to get up from bed since she had no other choice but to count on herself.

Chelsea arrived at the hospital regardless of the pain she endured. After making sure that Shirley was fine, she dozed off for a couple of minutes next to Shirley's bed.

She felt dizzy and her vision was getting blurry. However, her hearing sharpened at the same time.

She heard the news on the TV from the hallway.

"Yamilet Scherman, a Hollywood celebrity, is having a sweet trip to the famous theme park in Lorwick with a mysterious tycoon. The generous man had booked the entire theme park just for her. At the moment, the park is exclusive to the two love birds."

Chelsea opened her eyes as she heard the name 'Yamilet'.

She turned to the TV outside the ward, which was playing a video of Yamilet and a mysterious man at the theme park.

She couldn't get a good look at the man, because the shooting angle was not ideal.

Yet Chelsea recognized at once that the mysterious man was her husband.

Her spirit was dampened.

Her heart thudded in agony.

She called Winston again.

"Mrs. Murillo?"

"Where is Russell now?" Chelsea asked coldly.

Winston replied mechanically, "Mr. Murillo is in a meeting in the conference room."

"Oh yeah? Since when have you relocated your conference room to a theme park," Chelsea scoffed.

Suddenly, she heard the voices of a woman and a man from the background of the call. It was Russell's voice, and it stung her instantly.

She slowly tightened her grip on the phone.

She wondered what was the point of making this call after she saw Russell and Yamilet on the news.

Chelsea hung up the phone in a trance and then called her best friend, Gisselle.

Then she blacked out...

Chelsea woke up on her bed in her room. Gisselle was placing a glass of water on her nightstand.

"Are you feeling better?" Gisselle looked at Chelsea and asked.

"Yeah. Much better." Chelsea felt grateful to her.

She didn't want to bother her friend if she didn't have to, because she didn't want others to know the real side of her marriage.

"Where is Russell? Does he know that you are sick?" Gisselle asked.

"Maybe he is in a meeting," Chelsea said with ridicule.

"But you are sick. You're more important than his business," Gisselle complained.

Chelsea looked down and didn't want to talk more about it. After making sure she was OK, Gisselle left.

Chelsea lay in bed, looking around her bedroom, lost in memory.

Russell and Yamilet met before she was in the picture. Yamilet was Russell's first love, and they were very in love back then.

However, the head of the Murillo family did not approve of the two being together.

When it came to those top families, personal emotions were less important. Only a strong alliance could help the family business continue to expand.

After a period of depression, the rebellious Russell chose Chelsea to be his wife.

He avenged himself on his family by marrying a woman from a worse family than Yamilet's.

Chelsea was nothing but a pawn in this marriage.

Russell was tall, strong, and handsome. He had blonde hair and charming eyes. Chelsea fell in love with him after they got married.

She took care of Russell wholeheartedly, hoping that one day, Russell would change his mind and notice her.

Yet she was never a match for Yamilet in his eyes.

Russell would always choose Yamilet over her, even if she had a fever and passed out, it would still be the case.

Tears fell from the corners of her eyes as she closed them.

In the evening, when Russell returned home, he looked around. Looking at the empty living room, he frowned.

Chelsea always greeted him in the living room when he got home.

He took off his suit jacket, threw it casually on the sofa, walked to the table, and sat down.

After waiting for half an hour, Chelsea was still nowhere to be seen. Russell was running out of patience.

He got up and headed to the bedroom.

Russell opened the bedroom door. In the dim light, he saw Chelsea lying on the bed.

A trace of worry flashed across his eyes, but he didn't notice it.

He walked quickly to Chelsea and reached out to her forehead.

She was burning, which stocked him a little. Just as he was about to say something, Chelsea woke up, stretching out her arms to Russell for a hug.

Russell frowned and took a step back.

He looked at Chelsea and asked coldly, "Are you sick?"

"I didn't mistake," Russell said in a deep voice, "How could I possibly mistake her for someone else?"Don't even mention that the clothes of Rayna and Chelsea were completely different. Even if they were exactly the same, he would not have possibly mistaken them."Were you holding onto Rayna when the incident happened?"Russell pursed his lips, "It was her who pulled me."The moment the fireworks rushed over, he wanted to run towards Chelsea, but he was stopped by Rayna, who was very close to him, with a panicked look on her face, grabbing his sleeve. When Russell was tussling with her, he saw Geovanni pulling Chelsea away. The fireworks were still flying into the crowd, he could only pull Rayna to a safe area first, then immediately went to find Chelsea.Broderick...He opened his mouth, and after a long pause, he finally said, "I don't even know what to say. Russell grabbed her wrist, his face cold as he scanned her up and down, his voice tense, "Did any of it splash onto you?"Rayna followed closely behind, looking visibly shaken, and asked with concern, "Miss Ingersoll, Geovanni, are you both alright?"Seeing that Chelsea remained silent, Russell looked somewhat anxious, "Did it you got burnt?"Chelsea lowered his eyes and pushed away his hand, "No."Just as Russell was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he heard Chelsea continue, "I'm so lucky and fortunate, even a spark would have to detour around me, how could I get burned?"Russell...He wanted to say something, and Jayden had also come over at this moment.First, he looked at Chelsea, making sure she was alright, then turned to Rayna, "Rayna, how are you?"Rayna said softly, "I'm fine, brother. Russell took the cake away, finally freeing Chelsea's hands. She shook her sore fingers and shot Russell a glance."Look at how many children were surrounding that cake. By the time I finished eating and went over, the delicious fruit on top had already been snatched up."Russell was speechlessly, "But you couldn't have brought back two fortresses, right? Fighting children for food, aren't you ashamed?"Chelsea forked a piece of mango, eating and speaking, "What's so shameful about this? The little ones are much kinder than you, each of them scooped a spoonful for me, otherwise how could I have piled it so high by myself?"Russell didn't quite believe it.Just as he was about to speak, a child suddenly came over with candy. Seeing Chelsea enjoying the cake, he immediately wore a look of disbelief on his face."Sister, didn't you say the cake was for uncle to eat?"Chelsea...Russell???Chelsea swallowed the cake with difficulty, coughed and said, "Sister didn't lie to you, the cake wa
