Arthur’s POV

The birthday arrangements were coming together nicely. Alicia wasn’t good at buying alcohol so she just focused on tagging behind Anna while she bought them.

“I feel like the alcohol really shouldn’t exceed 12% plus you have really low alcohol tolerance.”

“Buy whatever you want, I don’t plan on drinking anyway. I wanna stay sober for a lot of things.”

“You’re the birthday girl fool, how the hell do you wanna not drink at your own party, that’s crazy.”

“I’m not even feeling it anymore.”

Anna stopped pushing the trolley and stared her up and down. “That better be cap man, don’t let that demon that comes over you a few days before your birthday come over you, you’re way past that now and you should outgrow it.”

“It’s not just about the demons thingy…I just-I don’t know, I just don’t feel good.” Alicia said, sighing.

“I don’t know how to answer that, I feel like I’ve fucked myself up in every possible way and it’s gonna come biting me back in
