Chapter 13

           Morning peaked the corner; Nick was still sound asleep when Ivy woke up. She tried moving his arm without waking him, but he popped his eyes open. “Hey, beautiful.” He smiled.

           “Um, call me that when I've had a shower and look better,” she said, getting out of bed.

           “Eh, you're beautiful in my eyes no matter what you look like.” He yawned following Ivy into the bathroom. “Here are some of my mom’s clothes. I haven’t had time to get some of yours.” 

           “Thanks,” she said, taking the clothes. “I’ll be out in a bit.” Closing the door.

           Ivy took a quick shower; the water was nice but burned on her wounds. Stepping out, she found a brush, and a toothbrush set out for her. She half-smiled as she slowly brushed her hair.
