Chapter 43

           Ivy jerked her eyes open, the sun was shining through the window. She wasn’t sure what time it was. She sat up, the room was still spinning so she didn’t bother to try and get out of bed until Samuel came into the room with the tea. He didn’t come for a few hours and when he did he didn’t say anything. She drank the tea without much effort; Samuel helped her out of bed.

           She managed to walk down the stairs with help, but she still felt like crap. She tried to reach Quinn but he didn’t respond to her.

           The house was a lot less noisy today, she didn’t mind that. She wanted to go outside and see if she could get some air, but she knew she wouldn’t get that, so she didn’t bother to ask.
