Little-angel POV

As Doctor Smith guided me further into the lab, I couldn't help but feel a growing sense of trepidation. Beakers of bubbling liquids, unknown instruments, and peculiar contraptions adorned the various lab benches, filling me with a mixture of curiosity and fear.

The white-coated scientists scurried around in a hushed frenzy, as if performing some clandestine experiment. Their probing eyes met mine briefly, but quickly averted as if they held secrets they were determined to keep. Doctor Smith led me through a maze of corridors, each turn intensifying the knot of confusion that formed in my stomach.

As we arrived at a closed door, Doctor Smith turned to face me, his eyes holding a flicker of concern. "Little-angel," he began, his voice laced with uncertainty, "we are about to conduct an experimental procedure. It may be disorienting, but trust me, it's for your own good." His words offered no solace, leaving me even more bewildered.
