Author's POV

His lethal aura darkened the room the moment he entered. If anyone could change the air with just their presence, then it was Liam Wolf. Heir to the Wolf Empire and a sinister figure in the world of mafia. He is powerful, so dangerous that evil souls tremble just by his name. 

The room went dead silent when he entered with his bodyguards. The presence was enough. Tall, built like a devil and mischievous like Lucifer. He was the darkness itself. 

There were no emotions on his face, just evilness with a sinister smirk, as if he knew he owned the world. 

His doings might put monsters to shame. Liam Wolf wasn't really famous for his good behaviour. 

"Don't mind me, gentlemen. Continue!"

He ordered as he walked towards his chair with his evil smile and sat down. 

He knew why he was here and what he was going to do. 

Other businessmen were sitting around the table, waiting for the speaker to announce who had won the tender.

Men were already nervous because the devil himself was there, he snatches everything he wants and they know that Liam wants this tender at any cost but they don't want him to get it anyhow. If Liam gets this tender then he will be more in benefits than all men combined. He is already out of hand, they can't afford to give this tender to him.

A man named, Jaffery Lorence was planning all this, he had involved everyone in his plan so Liam wouldn't get the tender. He was playing with fire and he knew that. 

Liam waited patiently, silently waiting for the speaker to announce who had it.

The speaker who was also involved in Jaffery's plan, announced his name.

"The tender goes to Jaffery Lorence."

The room was still silent, no one was cheering like they wanted to. They didn't dare to. 

A low, dark and deep chuckle of Liam vibrated the room. He turned his head to Jaffery who was sitting very next to Liam. The biggest mistake of his life, not like it would have saved him or something. 

Jaffery was usually smart but stupid to show off his happiness.

"What happened, Liam... You want to cry?"

Jaffery mocked. 

"You should have known that I never lose... Come on man, I have finished my own family members for power then who the hell are you... You are young, send your father to fight____"

His words stuck in his throat when Liam's knife entered smoothly into his heart so quickly that no one got time to process. His head hung back, lifeless and shocked. 

Breathes hitched in the room, few didn't expect this but few knew what was going to happen. 

Liam never loses, there is no chance.

He got up from his chair.

"I am very disheartened to inform you that Mr Late Jaffery Lorence cannot take the tender.... But I sincerely feel that this handover should be fair. So is there anyone in the room who wants to take this tender?"

He smirked, watching fear on sweaty faces. 

No one dared to say a word. 

"It's surprising that no one wants this big deal... You guys lack business sense."

Liam turned toward the speaker.

"May I?"

The speaker was shivering.

"Sure, Mr Liam"

He handed him all the documents.

As always he got what he wanted but not before leaving a lesson behind. 

He went back to his car, victory was his but he was not happy. There was no satisfaction on his face at all. He never feels peace. 

"Liam, you killed him but his family will come after you."

His right-hand man, Glenn said.

"Kill all of them."

Liam ordered and got inside the car.

Glenn froze.

"All of them?"

"I don't leave my shit behind, Glenn. You know that."

He replied.

"Call, Surumi... I want her home before I reach."

Liam looked at the tender documents in his hands with a dark smirk. He has reached one more milestone and one more dark scandal has been carved in his dark crown. 

He reached home and his girlfriend Surumi was already in his room as he wanted. He entered and tossed the jacket away, not even acknowledging her presence.

Surumi got up from the sofa when she saw him. A huge smile played on her face. Surumi is a beautiful and hot girl, with rich elegance and incomparable beauty. 

Her hotness would fail a Hollywood actress. Coming from a rich family she always got what she wanted but having Liam as a boyfriend was her best achievement as per her thoughts. She was deeply in love with him. 

"Li, how was your day?"

She walked towards him seductively. Like a cat who is graceful in her walk. 

She was about to touch him but he turned away while cracking his neck and poured a glass for himself. 

"You look tired."

She stood behind him and wrapped her delicate arms around his built body.

Liam finished the glass and turned towards her. He grabbed her jaw with bloodshot red eyes. 

"Strip!"
