Chapter 2

The Sun Goddess Siqiniq:

           “My queen some of our men have returned from their mission with King Manor. They said they have urgent news regarding the mission and are requesting a meeting to debrief.” My servant Vax said as he entered my chambers. I frown at the news, why didn't King Manor contact me himself. “Send them in at once we need to make this quick the introduction dinner will be starting soon. Is everything moving along smoothly? Has my son arrived yet?” I asked looking at Vax. “Yes my queen the women you sent to prepare the mermaid is with her now. Your son should arrive just in time for the dinner.” Vax responded before leaving the room to go fetch my men. This dinner is important, because it's the day that will change everything. It will right the wrong that happened all those years ago. Everything will be set the way it should have been. “My Queen, thank you for seeing us on such short notice. We have just arrived back from our mission with King Manor.” Belfar the captain of the warriors said bowing to my feet.

           “Yes, Vax said that you have urgent an matter to discuss, please make it quick we have a dinner to prepare for.” “Yes my Queen, The mermaid that King Manor gave you is the Ocean God's daughter. He came looking for his daughter while we battled the wolves. King Manor told him that you had taken the princess.” “WHAT! THAT FILTHY BASTARD BETRAYED ME! HE WILL DIE FOR HIS BETRAYAL” “My queen, he is already dead, he was killed by his own son. We believe the Ocean God is coming here to get his daughter. We are sure he plans to bring an army with him. We thought we should enlist the help of someone who could help us to be prepared for his arrival.” Belfar said as he stood in front of me. I frowned at the last part of his statement. “Yes, we should be prepared for Triton's return, but who could you possibly get to help us, I hardly doubt there is anyone powerful enough to take on the Ocean God, but a fellow God or Goddess. So although I don't need the help, I'm curious about who it could be.” I said wondering who it could be.

          “That would be me my queen.” A woman said as she entered my chambers. I through my hand out, my powers flew through the air, throwing, and pinning the woman against the ceiling. “How dare you come into my chambers without permission. Who do you think you are, I don't know what my men have told you about me. But make no mistake you are a liability at best and you better hope that the information you have is worth sparing your life.” I said my powers draining the water from her body. “I, I, I, I am the….Queen of….Atlantis. I could help you ensure that the princess stays here with you.” The woman said, desperately. “So, you're the mermaid he replaced when his human died? Why would you help me by going against your mermate and your King. Surely you know helping me will cost you your life if he finds out you helped me.” I said, releasing the woman, she fell to the ground with a thud.

             “My mate is already searching for me, he thinks I tried to kill his daughter, killed his best friend, and killed some of his subjects in a quest to find his half breed daughter.” The woman sneered. I could see the hate in her eyes, as she talked about the princess. “Why do you hate the princess so much that you are willing to risk death to get rid of her?” I asked the woman. “She has made our lives hell, my mate can't focus on anything or anyone because she’s always getting into some kind of trouble or running off. We need an heir to the throne, but we can't find time to be together because of her terror. My mate won't listen to me or anyone when it comes to her, so I am taking it into my own hands to save all of Atlantis. It is better…. We would be better if she would stay here where you can ensure she doesn't hurt or be a burden to her father or Atlantis.” The woman said boldly. I looked at her and wondered if she could truly be of any use to me. I don't trust her, but if any of what she said is true then I may be able to use her to my advantage.

          Maybe I could get Triton to see that I am doing what is best for him. Maybe when he comes here to find his daughter and see that I have caught his traitorous mate, he would finally realize that all he needed was me all along. Maybe being here will bring back the memories of what it was like to live on Olympus. I thought as I looked out the window at the view of Olympus. This was the place that all Gods and Goddess lived, before they decided to go to the new world the King of Kings created. Once he banished them after the cleanse instead of coming back to Olympus they decide to scatter and build their homes on other planets and galaxies. That was the beginning of the end for The Ocean God and The Sun Goddess, once he decided to not return but build his kingdom in the Seas on Earth, she had been devastated. He could have returned to the waters of Olympus he could have ruled over Oceanus which is far bigger then the seas and oceans of earth. But he had chosen to stay on earth, they were happy for millennia, until he met the human. He started to pull away from her not long after he made the decision to stay.

            She had thought it was because he was still building his kingdom. The distance between them wasn't easy to deal with, especially when they both were rulers of their own Kingdom. She had considered leaving Olympus to create her own realm closer to earth but all that changed once she had come to earth to see him. She had come to tell him of her plans to build her kingdom closer to him, but when she finally found him that was when she saw them. He hadn't seen her come to his kingdom, so when she had gotten to his castle she had spotted them together. She was heavily pregnant, and he was cradling her stomach looking at her adoringly. The scene had crushed her, she left immediately and never returned. The sad thing was he had never came to her and told her that he had found his mate. He didn't think she deserved to know that he had found his mate. Everything he had promised her was all a lie he abandon her. “Belfar take….What is your name again?” “Larissa your highness. “ Belfar take Larissa to the spare bedroom in the South wing, ensure she is giving the special treatment and has everything she deserves.” I said to Belfar who's eyes widen in shock but he quickly nodded and took the smiling woman out of the room. “My Queen your son has finally arrived.” Vax said, once Belfar exited my chambers. “Excellent now we can get this dinner started, and let the introductions began.” I said excitedly.
