HAYDEN

“Alpha Hayden…” My ears perked up upon hearing Sue, my omega who was serving in the pack house enter after a knock.

I was usually at my alpha office to deal with the paperwork and make some deals with neighboring packs. It was tiring but it kept my mind off from my sensitive past that I don’t want to touch or recall at the moment since I have to be the alpha that everyone should fear and not belittle like they once did.

“What is it?” I coldly responded without looking and let me do my work since it had been piled up, again.

“Dr. Henry told me to give it to you since it needed your approval.” The omega handed me an envelope and left after I received it.

“My approval?” I wondered since my siblings usually bragged inside my office whenever they wanted something to be approved and by receiving it like this, something was up, and quickly checked it out.

She-Alpha Hayden,

I would like to address the program from the Seo Health & Care Hospital Institute that I talked about once with you before. The town passed their criteria and two best general surgeons who were also experts in nuclear medicine will arrive tomorrow to aid us on our special case.

Here are the names: Dr. Ruby Jade Kim and Dr. Roxanne Morison as well as their profiles.

Your brother and pack doctor,

Henry Salazar

“Silly brother. You just want to be with your mate.” I might be amused but I know that it was not even reaching my eyes since some of the young pups around here noticed that.

“Henry, I approved and you can pick them up at the security house. You’re assigned to show them around here and you better tell Mom and Dad about RJ.” I directly contacted him through telepathy when I finished reading his letter and signed it.

‘Already and they were frantic, especially Mom.’

“I could imagine.” I coldly smiled before checking another piece of paperwork on my desk.

‘Aren’t you going to meet them to welcome them?’

“You and Harriett were enough to welcome them. But I might join you to meet RJ in person but for now, let me finish my workloads, they’re piling up.” I could feel that he was pouting but simply responded while reminding him about my piling workloads.

‘Best of luck on papers.’

“Very funny but thanks.” I sighed when I heard his innocent giggle before thanking him and when I was about to head back to my work, my eyes landed on the certain name that Henry mentioned in his letter.

“Roxanne Morison…sound strange when I speak her name.” I hummed when I reread the name which sent a weird tingle around my chest but quickly ignored it due to my work.

Finishing my paperwork finally ended but not when a knock notified me about something urgent. I didn’t waste any more time idling inside my office and went to the pack’s cell. It was an isolated cell beneath the security house since only a really bad rogue was held captured and tortured. Arriving in the area, I did not expect that I would meet the man that gravely hated.

“Who would have thought, we’re going to meet like this.” Anger mixed up with an adrenaline rush in my veins sarcastically greeted the man who broke us apart.

“You?” the hanged werewolf man finally noticed my presence in his cell and I’m glad that he recognized me. Better.

“Yes me.” I slyly grinned as I felt superior at the moment.

“GET ME OUT OF HERE FREAK!” He spat but he only received a fatal punch from my guards here.

“NEVER SPEAK TO ALPHA LIKE THAT!” My sentinel gave the first punch that landed on his gut making him groan in pain.

“VERMIN!” Another hit him with a soaked silver bat on his body and I’m enjoying that he was in pain.

“Hm, I’m not sure about it…rogue.” The sinister grin didn’t leave my lips which finally made him shiver as he finally realized our position.

“This is going to be fun, don’t you think?” I grabbed his chin with cold but penetrating blood eyes as I glared at them. My wolf agreed on killing him but I decided to show my ruthlessness first and tortured him by whipping him with silver and letting him drink some of it which prevented him from screaming until he was no more.

***

I had changed as I was no longer afraid of tainting my hands with blood, especially when they disturbed the peace that I have been maintaining ever since I became the third female alpha of our family. I’m ruthless and dangerous to cross with.

“Clean this up and be sure it’s spotless.” I coldly commanded my two sentinels who saw how gruesome I could be whenever I had to.

“June, any update around the pack?” I asked as soon as I washed my hands to get rid of that nasty blood from the man in my past.

“Nothing much aside from the usual but…I’m not sure if you’re willing to meet the pack elders.” With a skeptical tone, June, my beta and male childhood best friend who knew my past stated.

“After what I told them before, it didn’t even reach their thick skull.” I sighed as I rolled my eyes as we left the underground pack’s torture cell.

“I know your story and there’s nothing on meeting a few potential Luna’s just to make them shut up,” June suggested making me scoffed.

“June, trust me. They won’t until it becomes official.” I didn’t hate the idea but knowing the persistence of the pack elders, it won’t stop.

“True, so, are you going to meet them?” June agreed but carefully wondered since it was a sensitive topic to me.

“Well, it’s a pain but they were on my doorsteps again, why not greet them?” I grinned sinisterly as June opened the backseat door of my car.

“Ohhoo, I like this side of you Alpha.” He grinned and closed the door before my car left to check my town.

I always roamed around the town by car and monitored the life of my townsfolks. I don’t interact much with them lately but it doesn’t mean that their needs weren’t heard. I made sure they were all answered for the best of everyone’s well-being despite having a mateless she-alpha.

“Heyoung, drive us home,” I commanded the omega, my driver whenever I used my black Audi car to roam around town.

“Sure, Alpha.” With politeness, Heyoung drove the car as soon as I felt satisfied with checking the town and headed back to the pack house.

I prepared myself to face the usual pressure that didn’t change whenever the pack elders paid a visit to the pack house. I'm still the mateless alpha. Although I’m preparing myself against the pressure later once I come back home, the peaceful scenery of the open field filled with youngsters' laughter puts me at ease and determined to keep the pack as safe as possible to preserve their smiles.

“Alpha, we’ve arrived.” I was snapped from my thoughts when I heard Heyoung's polite voice. I looked at the front gate of our house where the car stopped before sighing.

“Thanks.” I genuinely thanked him before I hopped out of the car and let him do his other jobs around the pack.

“Now, let’s deal with them.” I released an annoyed sigh before I entered our lawn.

***

Surely, I was respected as the alpha of the pack and the person who secured the entire town and tended to their needs. They warmly greeted me despite my cold and intimidating demeanor. I may not speak to them casually without thinking about my job as Alpha but I still acknowledge their greetings by either nodding or waving my hand to them.

“Alpha, they’re at the meeting room.” One pack house servant, an omega informed me as soon as he saw me approaching.

“Thank you. Go back to work.” I might be grateful for the notification but I still gave a stern command as I headed to the meeting room beside the alpha’s office.

I didn’t knock or give them any heads up about my arrival. I just entered the room and headed to my seat without caring about the pack elders' presence. It might be rude but I have to show them that I’m the alpha and not them and I can’t be easily pushed around like they always nag about.

“Hope you’re not here just to discuss the same trivial matter since you know the answer will still be the same. No.” I bluntly went straight to the point as soon as I confidently and intimidatingly settled myself on my chair.

“Hayden…” One among the three pack elders, not including my grandfather started speaking but I corrected him.

“It’s Alpha Hayden since you’re here to discuss the same issue again despite knowing my answer.” I sternly corrected which made some of them flinch but the other found it rude and I don’t care.

“You’re starting to get rude ever since you became an Alpha.” Another spoke and I don’t mind since stating their opinion of oneself was free yet sometimes it cuts.

“By rights, right? And about me being rude, I am if you are.” I scoffed but I glared at them which they cowered as they looked away since I was emitting my alpha side at the moment.

“You insolent…” The one who called me rude growled but before I could sarcastically respond, the first one who initiated the topic spoke again.

“Enough. Alpha Hayden, you know that you can’t handle the pack and the town alone at the same time, so please…” He calmly pleaded which made me sigh and sternly looked at them.

“Am I not doing the job? I’ve been doing that ever since I was appointed as the Alpha or are you just blind to see how I work around here?” I sternly asked them since I was already doing the job and they could not see it well.

“It was not about the job of being an Alpha and you know to yourself that having a Luna could balance everything that Alpha couldn’t reach when preoccupied. Luna could hear the inner sympathy of the pack since the Alpha was always on the tough side.” He cleared to me what he was trying to say but the way they pressured me over this matter was something I still hate to consider.

“I am the alpha and I will rule with or without a Luna and if you dislike it then you’re free to leave my town. And besides, I’d rather have a Luna who’s meant for me and not by some random forces pressuring anyone’s shoulders.” I growled at them by slapping what they had been doing to me. Pressuring something my heart and mind weren’t ready to face again and by stating my point, none of them speak anymore which I like.

“This meeting is adjourned. Excuse me. I have a pack to feed.” I sternly said and coldly left them speechless in the meeting room before I headed to the Alpha’s office to do my usual job.

Somewhere in the past, where once Roxanne had dreamed before, there was somebody—a woman walking back and forth restlessly. This young woman was a doctor and was restless as she waited for her supernatural friends to arrive at their meeting place just around the border between the city and the woods. Kathy Morison kept checking her wristwatch when a vampire man, Simon, popped behind her, followed by a werewolf woman, Isabella, carrying a young body.‘Jesus. Don’t pop like that.’‘Sorry, but we’ve got her.’‘Oh finally.’Isabella, who had been carrying the young girl, was handed into the doctor’s arms. She smiled with recognition as she took notice of the young girl's resemblance to her best friend, the young girl's b

EpilogueHAYDEN“Well, Roxanne came from the strongest bloodline, both werewolf and vampire, while, you were blessed with a fallen spirit wolf, which is unpredictable since they were spirits. So, if I base it on my previous job in the council, their situation will be considered, but for safety, you still need to be careful as they were born different from any of our kind.” Ralphie gave us a direct and honest answer before adding his advice. “Keep watching them and make a journal of their growing journey as well as their appetite. It will help you in case the councils or nobles go after them.”“Thanks, Uncle. We appreciated it.” Roxanne thanked her uncle when Avery went to her side, making her pick our cute little troublemaker.“No worries, they’re my blood too, and I will protect them at all costs.” Ralphie smiled with as

  • She-Alpha's Unusual Vaewolf Luna   CHAPTER 100: THE BIRTH OF TRIPLETS

HAYDENIt has been an hour or maybe even more ever since my wife has been taken inside the operating room to deliver our triplets. I was agitated, and my body trembled in worry, making my mother and grandmother sit beside me. Their presence was enough to calm me, but the negative racing thoughts were still bothering me until here it went. We all heard it. I heard it; I even felt it. The sound of my wife’s scream made the entire land crumble as if the earth was opening. I feel her pain passing throughout my entire body like I was giving birth too, but honestly, there was something different here. I could feel blood and life leaving me, making me sit on the ground, and my surroundings started to spin.“Hayden, breathe.” I heard Yuna’s soothing voice while my mother gently patted my back.

HAYDENUnwanted ruckus erupted throughout the woods and partly around town, but everything was bearable until my agitation began stirring again. Then Roxanne’s annoyed and disgusted voice echoed around my ears.‘Honey, feel me. He got me.’As I heard those words, I knew for sure what happened. I feel her, and I am fuming as I dash to where she is. Like lightning, I arrived on time, but my wife was losing consciousness, and I had to be careful since they were already near her.“Not for long, asshole.” Roxanne weakly whispered, and then she passed out, and everything in my surroundings turned dark and bloody.

ROXANNEAs everything is plotted and ready in place, here they come—rogues and nomads. It was the brewing storm that my wife had been sensing ever since I was crowned two nights ago and what fear Hayden was for my safety, but not now. I didn’t need it as they ran like wild animals despite being in human form and neglected my wife’s warning veil that added to the pack’s defense.“Come close.” I sinisterly whispered as I activated the first layer of my wrath. The first layer was threatening malice that brought their fury to the surface, which I enjoyed. They began to take on their true form, but the malice was not simply causing their rage. It was gradually trapping them in their dreams. Although some managed to flee and run through th

HAYDENThe power that the Moon had given to me has been flowing smoothly around my body as I decided to release my decagram star. I let it steam up to the sky, which overlapped my wife’s rose thorn barrier that she put to the entire pack’s perimeter. It served as protection and warning for all of us, and with my added powers, I made sure to scare all of the threatening creatures trying to ruin our pack’s peace.“Veil by veil, layer by layer, secures and cloaks the entire land with unyielding protection,” I softly whispered as I released my powers in layers.By layering my powers throughout the entire perimeter, I felt the sudden stir tingling my arms, which indicated the kills that my layering powers could do. It began killing some r
